Screw writing “strong” women. Write interesting women. Write well-rounded women. Write complicated women. Write a woman who kicks ass, write a woman who cowers in a corner. Write a woman who’s desperate for a husband. Write a woman who doesn’t need a man. Write women who cry, women who rant, women who are shy, women who don’t take no shit, women who need validation and women who don’t care what anybody thinks. THEY ARE ALL OKAY, and all those things could exist in THE SAME WOMAN. Women shouldn’t be valued because we are strong, or kick-ass, but because we are people. So don’t focus on writing characters who are strong. Write characters who are people.
“What if you wanna borrow a dress, or shoes, or clothes? I mean, is that cool? Do you share each other’s things?
Totally the same sweater, totally.
I’ve seen some debate and talked to some people about if Gail is wearing Holly’s sweater in the leaked clip from 508 and I definitely think she is. The coloring the leaked clip is really different, but the texture of the sweater is totally the same. If you’ve seen the (uncropped) clip it looks like Gail is wearing a v-neck, and Holly has an open cardigan but you can see as Holly walks down the hall in 501, and in the top picture of her that the sweater zips up into a ‘V’…and just look at how the sweater fits Gail. The sleeves are rolled up and it just looks a little big on her. Totally because it’s Holly’s….
