This post brought to you by U by Kotex. All opinions are 100% mine.

It’s no secret that I’m obsessed with nails and nail art. I usually have the help of talented nail artists to hook my nails up, but this time I decided to flip the switch and paint my manicurist’s nails. I’m not a professional by any means, so I chose the easiest possible nail art… the “half-moon.” This should be a breeze for y’all.    Supplies: Choose 3 (or more) nail colors. I chose Sally Hansen Salon Manicure nail polish in “Jaded”, “Kook a Mango”, and “Plum’s The Word”. You’ll also need office supply labels to help you out with this one. *Scroll down to find out how to get a freeeee bottle of Sally Hansen Salon Manicure polish!   Tutorial: Above are step-by-step images of how to do “half-moon” nails.   Ok, now you guys give it a try and have fun with it! Oooh and if you’re looking to get these Sally Hansen nail colors, Target is giving away 1 FREEEE Sally Hansen Salon Manicure polish when you buy 3 U by Kotex products until February 22nd!

Naya’s Beauty Tips: Neutral Nail Colors

This post brought to you by U by Kotex. All opinions are 100% mine.

I love a good nail polish, but even more so I love neutral tones that are feminine and soft. I found the perfect neutral shades from Sally Hansen Salon Manicure, “Arm Candy” and “Pink Pong.” And if I want to spice things up with a little pop of color, a deep red like Sally Hansen’s “Wine Not” is perfect too. (Umm… how cute are these polish names?).

Nail Tip: I usually do two coats of polish. The first is the base coat so that your second coat sets and you get the most out of the color. If you’re feeling adventurous, try following your second coat with some nail art for an extra pop of color. Adding a few simple lines or geometric shapes looks super fun and vibrant. Check out the pic below for some nail art inspiration! After you’ve done both coats, complete your manicure with a clear top coat and you’re done! (Special thank you to my friend for trusting me to do her manicure lol).

Sally Girl Nail Color Review

The nail game is always important especially if you want to have well manicured or polished toe nails. I know it’s an important thing to maintain especially if you don’t want those little chips on your nails to ruin your day.

Nail polish itself  has always been one of my favorite things to purchase. I’ve always loved the variety and color selection that nail brands have to offer. From glitter, matte, shiny, bright, or dark nail colors, I love trying any nail polish suiting for the season.

Recently I took a trip to Sally’s Beauty Supply to purchase some hair products to give me a “new do.” While browsing randomly at the store, I came across these little nail polishes that not only offered a variety or colors but also looked cute because of how small they are.

Here is a little review of these nail polishes I grabbed over the weekend

Package: These nail polishes are so small but make it so easy to keep if you have a huge nail polish collection. Since they are shaped rectangular, they don’t roll around and easy to store whether it’s standing up or even to it’s side.

Scent: With every nail polish, unless if stated other wise, it has the typical nail lacquer scent. I would say it isn’t very strong over overwhelming since it is coming from a small bottle.

Swatch: For a little bottle of nail polish, I would say that the swatch is true to the color of the bottle. The colors I picked up are very vibrant and swatch way better when painted on an actual nail.

Overall, these nail polishes are $0.94 cents and worth every penny. These are also great to pick up for easy small gifts for any age group. You can pick these up at any Sally Beauty Supply store today!
