friendly reminder that john watson was probably a pallbearer at sherlock’s “funeral” and was probably in uniform, his left hand clenching around the handle every so often as he held his coffin
friendly reminder that lestrade was probably also a pallbearer
friendly reminder that john looked at the small group of people that amassed to remember sherlock holmes’s life and probably remembered with a pang that sherlock didn’t think he had friends
friendly reminder that sally, anderson, and dimmock might have been there, in silent respect
friendly reminder that mrs hudson would have said something at whatever service was held, and that lestrade probably had to hold her hand so she wouldn’t sob too much
friendly reminder that, even though we didn’t see it, the funeral happened and was very real
Unpopular opinion by anonymous: I wish we could have seen than scene with Sally Donovan and Sherlock, the one Moffat and Gatiss mentioned in the PBS Tumblr chat. They said she doesn’t hate him anymore. I want to hear what her reasoning is.
Donovan was the first to tell Sherlock that Mycroft and Greg were in a relationship because she screamed “You can’t even deduce that Lestrade’s fucking your brother!” during one of their arguments at a crime scene.
I remember when I was five, hiding under the desk with all my Halloween candy. Had some peanut M&M's, went into my first anaphylactic shock and had to be rushed to the hospital. Came home, celebrated with a Snickers, went into my second anaphylactic shock.
When did you figure out you were allergic to nuts?
Unpopular opinion by anonymous: I like Sally. (There, I said it.) She’s independent and devoted to her job. Yes, her suspicions were disastrous for Sherlock, but she had her reasons for being suspicious. She’s a dedicated detective who thought she was doing what was right. In my head canon, she also has good reasons for being so hostile to Sherlock and he knows it.
