♦♦♦ Beautiful woman, Who wanted to get married ♦♦♦

There was this beautiful woman, who wanted to get married, but she wanted a very pious husband, so she said that she’ll marry the man who recites the whole Quran every single day, fasts for the whole year and stays awake and worships Allah all throughout the night.

She was a very beautiful woman, and a lot of suitors wanted to marry her, but they knew they couldn’t fulfills the conditions she set. Until this one man stepped forward and said he could fulfills them. So the Imam got both of them married.

After the first night of the marriage, the wife sees that the husband doesn’t recite the whole of the Quran, nor does he fast, nor does he stay awake in the worship of Allah, she decided to let it roll on for a few weeks to see if there were any changes, there weren’t, so she filed a complaint and asked for a divorce.

They are both taken in front of the judge, and the judge asked, ‘What were the conditions of the marriage?’ the man replied ‘They were for me to recite the whole Quran daily, keep fast for the whole year and to worship Allah all throughout the night.’The Judge asked, ‘ did you fulfill them?

The man calmly answered, ‘…yes.’The judge answers, ‘you lie, your wife has said that you don’t, that’s why she’s asking for a divorce’.But the man insisted that he had fulfilled the conditions, so the judge asked, ‘did you recite the full Quran everyday?’

The man answered yes.

The Judge, baffled asked, ‘how? How can you do that?’

The man coolly answered, ‘I recite Surah Ikhlas three times a day and according to Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W), reciting Surah Ikhlas three times is equivalent to reciting the whole Quran.’

The Judge was intrigued, so he asked, ‘how did you fast the whole year?

’The man answered, ‘

I fasted for the whole month of Ramadan, then kept another six fasts in the month of Shawwal, according to Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W), keeping all of the fast of Ramadan then keeping six fasts in the month of Shawwal, is as if you have fasted for the whole year.

’The Judge remained silent, he couldn’t give a reply saying the man was wrong, so finally he asked, ‘ how did you stay awake all night and worship Allah, when your wife saw you sleeping?

’ The Judge thought the man wouldn’t be able to answer this one, But the man, cool as a cucumber answered, ‘I prayed Salatul Isha with jamaat, then the next day prayed Salatul Fajr with jamaat, according to Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W), the one who prays Salatul Isha and Salatul Fajr with jamaat, it is as if he had stayed up all night worshipping Allah.’

The Judge sat there looking at the man; the final verdict was about to be released…He said to the man and his wife, ‘…go, just go, there is nothing wrong with this marriage’…

The Power of Istighfar – Astaghfirullah (I seek forgiveness of Allah)

People often forget the importance of the simple yet powerful dua (supplication) – Istighfar i.e., saying “Astaghfirullah” (I seek forgiveness of Allah). Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) recited this at least 100 times a day. Let us see the benefits and virtues of reciting this simple beautiful supplication insha Allah.

Istighfar (Astaghfirullah) is the gateway of relief and happiness. Whenever you are in distress start reciting it and Insha Allah it will take you out of your anxiety and will put you in a peaceful situation and will give you happiness.

-Istighfar removes anxiety and duas are answered.

-Istighfar opens the door of sustenance.

-Istighfar opens the door of mercy.

-Istighfar opens the door of knowledge.

-Istighfar is also gateway of productivity.

-Istighfar relieves you. When you feel that sadness within you, when you are disturbed and frustrated, when anxiety surrounds you, say “Astaghfirullah” “Astaghfirullah”…

Reciting Astaghfiruallah is an effective method of calming our self and wipes away the variety of worldly worries from our mind and body. It may also help us, if we are suffering from depression, it calm us and lessen our depression.
Astaghfirullah also helps us to refrain from all forms of sins. Regularly saying this reminds us that Allah is everywhere and in this way there is very small chances of doing wrongful actions.

Ibn Abbas (May Allah be pleased with them) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said,

“If anyone constantly seeks pardon (from Allah), Allah will appoint for him a way out of every distress and a relief from every anxiety, and will provide sustenance for him from where he expects not.” [Abu Dawud].

In another hadith, Abdullah bin Abbas (May Allah be pleased with them) narrates that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said:

“The one who (regularly) says Istighfaar, that is, frequently repent to Allah Ta’aala for sins committed, Allah Azza Wa-Jal will open a path from poverty and difficulties. All sorrow and hardship will be removed, and in its place prosperity and contentment granted. One will receive sustenance from unimagined and unexpected sources.”

Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) has said in another Hadith:

“The one who seeks forgiveness for Muslim males and females from Allah Ta’aala twenty six or twenty five times every day, Allah Ta’ala will count that person among those whose Du’a is accepted, and through the barakah of whom those on earth gain Rizq (sustenance).”

Do Tasbih of Astaghfaar at least 100 times daily as it is the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

In one minute, you can say “Astaghfiru Allaah” more than 100 times! The virtue of seeking forgiveness is well-known, it is a reason of obtaining forgiveness, entering Paradise, having good provisions, increasing one’s strength, repelling harm, having affairs facilitated, the descent of rain, and increasing in wealth and children.

The doors of repentance are always open therefore don’t delay your repentance in a hope of tomorrow, as tomorrow is uncertain , Repent now and make it a habit to ask Allah’s forgiveness by reciting “Astaghfirullah”.

Say I believe in Allah’s mercy, I have sinned, I have gone astray, I have been negligent, but still I believe in Allah’s soothing mercy and forgiveness, I’ll not despair!

The Way To Do Istighfar:
“Astaghfirullah”

“I seek Allah’s forgiveness.”(Muslim)

The Prophet (peace be upon him) would say:

“Astaghfiruka wa atoobu ilaik”

“I seek Your forgiveness and return unto You.”(Ahmad, Muslim, at-Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud)

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:

“Whoever says, on Friday morning before the salatul fajr:

‘Astaghfirullaahalladhi laa ilaaha illa huwal hayyul qayyumu wa attuubu ilaih’

(‘I seek the forgiveness of Allah, there is no other god except Him, the Living, the Sustaining, and I repent unto Him,’ three times, Allah will forgive his sins even if they were as abundant as the foam on the sea.”(Bukhari)

The Prophet ( peace be upon him), said,

“The best supplication for forgiveness is to say, ‘Allahumma anta Rabbi la ilaha illa anta, Khalaqtani wa ana ‘abduka, wa ana ‘ala ‘ahdika wa wa’dika mastata’tu. A’udhu bika min sharri ma sana’tu, abu’u laka bini’matika ‘alayya wa abu’u laka bidhanbi faghfirli innahu la yaghfirudhdhunuba illa anta

(O Allah, You are my Lord, there is no god but You. You created me and I am Your servant, and I try my best to keep my covenant (faith) with You and to live in the hope of Your promise. I seek refuge in You from evil done by me. I acknowledge Your favors upon me and I acknowledge my sins. So forgive me for none forgives sins but You.”‘)(Bukhari)

The means that will help a Muslim to wake up for Fajr prayer

In the Name of Allaah, the Extremely Merciful, the Bestower of Mercy…

Question: What are the means that will help a Muslim to wake up for the morning prayer? Bearing in mind that he goes to bed early, but does not wake up until after the sun has risen.

Shaykh Ibn Baaz: It is an obligation upon every Muslim to fear Allaah, and to pray the five prescribed prayers at their appointed times in the Masjid along with the Muslim congregation. He must be vigilant in carrying out all of the means that will aid him upon this. And from the ways that will help him stand for theFajr prayer with the congregation are:

1) He (should) sleep early;

2) Set an alarm clock to the appropriate hour so that he gets up for the prayer on time and attends it in congregation; and

3) He must strive in imploring Allaah for success and assistance.

He should also repeat the legislated words of remembrance before he goes to sleep. By doing so, Allaah will grant him success – in shaa` Allaah – in rising up for the prayer on time, and performing it with the rest of the Jamaa’ah.(1)
