some great things that happened in today’s d&d campaign:
getting attacked by my own party member
this happens twice
it’s from the same person
rolling several nat 20s for stealth. when my rogue already rolls 3d20 for stealth
our ranger successfully seducing a greater demon and sleeping with him
my rogue coming back with the quest objective item to see a bunch of demons gathered, the greater demon fighting other demons, and both my sidequest party members on the bed behind just fucking watching
You smiled at your phone, wrapping your coat tighter around yourself. If Namjoon saw you, he’ll tease you about not wearing a scarf again and tease you more before giving up his own. You tried to keep yourself warmer by blowing on your hands and placing it on your neck.
You fished out your phone again to check why Namjoon was running late when you heard a voice that you haven’t heard in the last two months. “Long time no see, Y/N.” His low, rough voice greeted you. “You look great.”
But he didn’t. He had bags under his eyes and he looked like he lost some weight. He tried to greet you with a smile, but it didn’t reach his eyes.
“What are you doing here?” you asked, trying to stop the memory of that day in the bridge from replaying in you head. “Is Dachi doing well?”
At your question, Yoongi’s eyes dropped to the ground. He looked like he was reorganizing his thoughts after receiving an unexpected question. “I still go here, you know. Dachi is… well, she’s doing better.”
You took this time to take another look at him and noticed a familiar article on his body. Yoongi tried to meet your gaze and noticed that your eyes were trained on the red scarf around his neck. “Oh, this. I think you left it in the studio the last time you visited.”
He began unraveling it and you were quick to raise your hand in protest. “No, you don’t have to return it!”
But he had already closed the distance between you and wrapped the scarf around your neck. He tied it securely, making sure that you were snug in it. He adjusted it and briefly grazed your cheek with his fingers. Whether it was intentional or not, you didn’t know, but seeing Yoongi that close made your heart beat in the familiar beat that Yoongi seem to have taught it.
“You need it more than I do. You were always quick to catch a cold because you leave your scarves and jackets everywhere.” His tone was playful in the end, but it held a certain sliver of melancholia.
“Th-Thank you.” you whispered meekly, being under Yoongi’s attention has become foreign to you.
He stuffed his hands in his pockets, but maintained the same distance from you without taking a step back. “I heard you’re dating Namjoon?”
You nodded, for some reason embarrassed of yourself.
He nodded back, his lips pressing to a thin line. “I see. I’m sure he’s making you happy. See you around.”
He turned on his heels and started walking away when you tried to call for him. “Yoongi, you–”
You felt a hand wrap around your wrist and yank you backwards to face… Namjoon. Without a word and only his heavy breathing and intense gaze as a warning, he pressed his lips against yours. His eyebrows furrowing in concentration.
You didn’t pull away nor kiss him back, waiting for the words that you knew would follow. “여기 봐, 도망가지 마. 나를 똑바로 봐라.”
He pulled you in for another kiss and this time, you kissed him back.
**Look here, don’t run away. Look at me properly
Summary: It’s the number one rule: you should never fall in love with your best friend or worse, Min Yoongi. With love in the equation, it becomes much difficult to find the right answer. Is it really true that you can’t choose who you fall in love with?
