Request: Hi, please could you do a Ryan Ross imagine (p!atd) where he proposes to y/n, thanks!

“Let’s go on the Ferris wheel.” Ryan said batting his eyelashes at you. You smiled and pulled some more cotton candy from the stick.

“But the fireworks are going to start soon.” You protested.

“Exactly, so we should get on the Ferris wheel so we can see them from up high.”

“And what if we don’t stop at the top?”

“What if we do?” He smiled and raised his eyebrows.

“Okay fine.” You surrendered. You couldn’t help it.

His brown eyes sparkled and the corners of his mouth turned up slowly in triumph. He placed his warm hand on your face and quickly pressed his lips to yours before jumping up and pulling you behind him as he made a bee line for the ride.

As you weaved between people, their unfamiliar faces a blur, you wondered why Ryan was so eager to go on the Ferris wheel. He knew that the fireworks were your favourite part of anything and wouldn’t dare make you miss them. So much beauty and joy in such a short moment. They comforted you and reminded you to live your life to the fullest. You never know when you will lose your spark and your light will go out.

Ryan let go of your hand and walked over to the ticket booth. Your eyes darted to the sky hoping they hadn’t started yet and a smile spread across your face as you noticed the sky was still dead.

“Coming?” Ryan asked snapping you back to reality. You smiled and walked towards the entrance gate.

You walked behind Ryan to the carriage.

“Ladies first.” He said opening the door and bowing slightly

“And they said chivalry was dead.” You teased walking to the carriage and sliding onto the yellow seat. You shivered as the cold metal brushed behind your knees. “Why so eager to go on the Ferris wheel?” You asked as it started moving you both upwards.

“I thought it would be nice.” He said reaching into his pockets. “I know fireworks are your favourite thing in the whole world and I leave on tour tomorrow so I-” Ryan was cut off by a quick bang behind you.

Your head whipped around and your eyes widened at the beautiful orange steaks that splashed in the darkness. Then two purple ones, throwing themselves against the night sky. Quickly the number increased and the whole sky was drowning in a beautiful light show.

You turned your head back to Ryan who was smiling at you. You looked into his eyes and could see the reflection of the fireworks behind you. This was the moment, the memory, that was going to get you through his tour you thought to yourself.

He placed his hands in front of you, one cupping the other and he took a deep breath.

“Y/N. You are the most beautiful sight here. This moment, right now, it’s the peak of my life and having you in my life means things can only get better. Y/N, I want to take on this world and life with you. I want this crazy, bumpy, passionate love we have to last forever. I want to be forever falling in love with you until the day I die.” He paused taking in a deep breath as your carriage softly jolted to a stop. It stopped at the very top.

He un-cupped his hands and his pic tin was sitting on his hand. You shot him a confused glare and slowly took the tin from his hand. He chuckled lightly as you kept your eyes on his, twisting the lid off the tin. The lid slid off and you directed your gaze to the inside of the tin.

You gasped.

Inside sat a lone ring with a small thin silver band and a simple black stone. You placed the tin on your lap and picked up the ring, holding it between both index fingers and thumbs. It was so delicate.

You looked up at Ryan and his eyes filled with worry. He chewed his lip slightly and then breathed out.

“Will you marry me?” He almost whispered.

A smile spread across your face and you looked down at the ring once more.

“Yes. Absolutely. A thousand million times yes!” You cried slipping the ring onto your finger and then throwing your arms around him, crushing his lips with yours. You could feel his smile against yours, his heart beet through his shirt and his arms tighten around your waist.

Your head spun with excitement and your mouth was having trouble turning thoughts into words. Ryan lifted one hand from your waist and placed it on your cheek breaking the kiss.

“Enjoy the fireworks. You have forever to kiss me now.” He whispered as he turned your head towards the remainder of show.
