I was lucky enough to take part in, contributing a portrait of Yvon Chouinard, climber and founder of Patagonia clothing company. Really nice project, with a collection of illustrators producing portraits of various key figures in outdoor cultural development.

The launch for the project was held at church of london’s new 71a gallery space last night, was great to see all the work again and even meet some of the contributors. Special thanks to Adam Cruft for patiently being the recipient of my fumbling attempts at networking. Check out his stuff here, really lovely work.

Prints! Yup, I’ve finally got round to getting prints of my Black Swan image done. For £25, you can adorn your wall with a beautifully printed, archival quality giclee print, printed on lovely 310gsm soft textured fine art paper, signed and wrapped and delivered to your door.

So hop skip and jump on over to my online shop,, and treat yaself.

As a modern man, I feel compelled to keep up with the times. As such, I have (finally) got myself twitter and instagram accounts. To celebrate this, and my recent move to London, here’s a picture of my sweet new bedroom wall. The huge incredibly detailed print is by Ugo Gattoni, published by nobrow, and is staggeringly cool. The painting to the right is by my exceedingly lovely girlfriend, (shameless plug :D). My instagram and twitter names are rupertsmissen, follow me for more regular juicy updates. ..
