War Cry (a clexa fansong)

War Cry (a clexa fansong)

Here’s my newest clexa fansong, War Cry. I know it’s a pretty general song overall, but I had a lot of fun making the instrumentals with my brother and I’m pretty proud of it! Hope you all like it <3

Lyrics:

In a world where everyone bows to me

I will only bow to you

I an a world where image is everything

I know you’ll always see right through

That I never wanted to make you this

That I never meant to kill what had grown between us two

but what would you have had me do?

now there’s war drums coming closer

they’re ringing through the trees

and to gain your trust I’ll do what I must

I will get down on my knees

Never thought it would come to this

another struggle to be won

now take my hand let our people

our people become one

Do you hear the war cries?

There’s a hunger moving through our souls

See our fighters rising

see the battle burning in their bones

a storm is coming

and it echoes in our blood

so raise your shields, raise your swords, raise your voices

and run

will you take a life with me

she said as we both swore

to live as one, a fearless life

and settle all our scores

the world will burn, but so will we

we carry fire in our hands

blood must have blood, so let ours flow

to save our promised lands

I feel so much stronger with you standing next to me

and even when you’ve trapped my heart i’ve never felt so free

never felt so safe, with a knife pressed to my neck

cause you know that I am sorry, and you wouldn’t hurt me back

Do you hear the war cries?

There’s a hunger moving through our souls

See our fighters rising

see the battle burning in their bones

a storm is coming

and it echoes in our blood

so raise your shields, raise your swords, raise your voices

and run

Do you hear the war cries?

There’s a hunger moving through our souls

See our fighters rising

see the battle burning in their bones

a storm is coming

and it echoes in our blood

so raise your shields, raise your swords, raise your voices

and run

Dimitri Veimar - Rundo [Renate Schallplatten]

The fifth release on Renate Schallplatten comes from Dimitri Veimar from Moscow, a good friend and regular guest behind the decks at Renate. Hot on the the heels of his fantastic Time EP on Omnidisc, he delivers four tracks of modern acid flavoured goodness. The icing on the cake is a superb remix by Renate all time favourite Lauer from the Robert Johnson crew.

Let’s find a cheap motel
And stay a couple nights
And when our time is done
We’ll go back on the run
