Chicago Marathon Training, W16D2: 5 miles
Holy shit, y’all. I should have gotten that massage a few days before our twenty-miler. I felt like I had brand new legs today.
It was almost too hot to be out, but it was beautiful, my legs felt great, and I regained (at least some) of my old speed. Today I remembered what it’s like to love to run. IT’S ABOUT DAMN TIME.
