I drafted like a dozen posts for @dailyenvergjokaj  and I still need to do video ones but there’s a few bits that aren’t long enough

At one point he was talking about a potential S3 and how Hayley and James really, really wanted it to be in London so they were trying to “speak it into existence” talking about it like it was going to happen.

He thought it would be interesting to see Sousa in the land of tea and crumpets.

Meanwhile I’m in the audience just dying because I wrote that fic about the tea.

Workout Log 2-23-17

So, neither by boyfriend nor I set an alarm clock this morning. LOL. Good thing I’m incapable of sleeping the second light touches my face, so the sun got me up only half an hour late. I guess the good news is I slept through most of the night? I was up for about an hour around 3AM, but hey as long as I end with 8 hours, right?

I don’t have any clever segues into my favorite playlist songs for my workout, so bam. Nine Inch Nail’s “Ruiner.”

Today was an upper body day since it kept getting put off. The reason I do so many upper body workouts is because my legs seem to be naturally gifted and my arms have the most skin issues. Don’t worry, though! My little leg day challenge is going to be tomorrow and I’m planning (hoping) to do another video post for it.

Exercises today were: With dumbbells (10-15 lbs depending on the difficulty for me); bicep curls, hammer curls, overhead triceps extension, seated overhead press, front raises, side raises. As I’ve mentioned, I go light on the dumbbells because I’m still trying to perfect form. Machines (30-50 lbs depending on the difficulty for me); chest press, overhead press, fly/rear delt, lat pulldown, low row, tricep press. Also, can’t forget to mention a good 20 minutes on the treadmill to keep that blood flowing!

Hey! Sorry if this is intrusive or if this blog isnt active anymore or something along those lines, but i stumbled upon it and im really curious. Are all 4 of those huskys yours, and were they all raised at seperate times or were any of them littermates or puppies together? I recently ended up with 2 husky puppies in my care, both from the same litter, one boy one girl. Ive never raised littermates before (or huskys, for that matter) and have n o clue what im doing D: So i cant help but ask!

All four are mine! Ani and Balto are litter mates, they are the black and white siberians. It was a lot of work and it made me never want puppies again (for like a year). It was difficult to do all the training and exercising separately because I needed them to be independent of one another. Littermate syndrome is a life ruiner for the dogs and you. I’d separate them as often as possible. Ani and Balto were crated across the room from one another, went on separate walks, had separate training times, attended different training classes etc. We did things together sure, but tbh it was easier to deal with one nutty husky puppy living downtown in a busy city than it was to manage two at once. Their together time was usually in the house playing/cuddling while I did homework and if we went to the little dog park (which meant other dogs where there too) or beach etc. 

My advice is keep exercise consistent, don’t over do it. You don’t want crackheads who are addicted to exercise so every time they see you or they are out of their crates its GO TIME. They need to learn to chill too. Keep training separate until they are consistent and deal well with distractions. Focus on remaining focused and calm/engaged with you around other dogs and people and other non pet animals lol. Take them with you to eat and chill places so they learn that going out doesn’t always mean GO GO GO GO GO. 

Huskies have a tendency towards neuroticism and being high strung. Exercise is great to keep them stimulated but over doing it and over arousing them is just as bad.

The big thing with littermates is you can do everything right and still run into some scary issues with littermate syndrome. Try to ensure they are bonding with you more than each other.
