How would the elgang (including rose) react if they were diagnosed with a certain terminal illness that would cause its victim to be unable to live another year or so? Pls

Elsword spends several days alone at first, avoiding the Elgang entirely. He recovers quickly, and fights harder for his team and to forget his fate.

Rena leaves to spend some time with her elf village, leaving behind a note not to worry about her and she’s just running some errands. She comes back to spend her final months with her true friends, Elgang.

Aisha freaks out and researches every possible way to cure the illness, to no avail. The Elgang spends time with her by trying to calm her down and comforting her during her anxiety attacks.

Raven doesn’t tell anyone about his illness, but the Elgang notices he’s been acting more protective over them recently. By the time they find out about him they’re already around his deathbed, him smiling over everything they’ve done for each other.

Eve wonders why everyone’s getting sick.

Chung goes back to Hamel to inform them they’re going to need another prince. Back with the Elgang, he tells them but reassures them constantly not to worry about him.

Ara and especially Eun would be torn. Eun would constantly push her forward to complete their contract quickly, at the cost of spending less time with her friends.

Elesis tells the others, but makes them promise not to tell Elsword. In her last year, she spoils her little brother but also pushes his training so he’ll be strong enough to handle himself when she passes away.

Add pushes away everyone immediately, never coming outside a locked room. Some days he works on his dynamos to distract himself from the illness, other days he thinks back to his mother and wonders if he should speed up the process.

Lu distances himself from Ciel, bitter that the demons who betrayed her have won. Ciel tries to remind her that it’s not over, and come up with a last plan to get her power back.

Ciel doesn’t mention it to Lu, but she can tell there’s something wrong through their contract. Ciel spends his last year protecting Lu more recklessly, to Lu’s dismay.

Rose would work even harder to complete the mission given by her from the princess. She tries to push away the anxiety caused by her one year time limit, and breaks down when she’s alone.

Ain has a breakdown when he realizes he will die in a year, especially when he assumed he was immune to human ailments. When Ishmael doesn’t answer him, he pushes himself to finish the mission as fast as possible.

Short but accurate summaries of popular books/series
  • Red Rising: *George RR Martin approved*
  • Lux: Main love interest is the child of Jace Herondale and Number Four.
  • Raven Cycle: Fun with Dick and Jane. Except instead of fun there's dead people.
  • Ruby Red: Homework is a more appealing option than time travel.
  • Endgame: The 39 Clues, rated R. Also everything you know is wrong.
  • Shadowhunter Chronicles: Racist and oppressive society keeps blatantly ignoring that its racism and oppression is why the oppressed keep trying to kill them.
  • School For Good and Evil: Two girls are the first in +200 years to call BS on heavy prejudices that have made their school an incredibly toxic environment.
  • Vicious: If you relate/agree with either main character, PLEASE seek professional help.
  • The Young Elites: Kindly check your moral compass and whatever sense of morality you may have left at the door, thank you and try not to die.
  • Throne of Glass: Protagonist will love you if you give her a gorgeous dress, a puppy, chocolate cake, or an assortment of deadly weapons (and preferably a reason to use them).
  • Coldest Girl In Coldtown: Vampires go viral. This is basically a quote.
  • Steelheart: Nice try, Brandon Sanderson, I still want superpowers.
  • Gates of Thread and Stone: "ALL RIGHT, WHO STARTED THE APOCALYPSE?" *magic and science point at each other accusingly*
  • Red Queen: Superpowers+racism=a whole lot of dead people.
  • The Darkest Minds: Good news, you survived a deadly plague. Bad news, the government officials who now dictate your life REALLY wish you hadn't.
  • Penryn and the End of Days: Angels and Humans differ in every conceivable aspect...except sarcasm. That's universal.

How would the Elgang and Glave react to their S/O having a nightmare?

Elsword would almost panic, and anxiously just keeps talking. He has a motormouth, and he talks about anything. It really works because soon he and his s/o forget about the nightmare.

Rena acts almost motherly and tells gives her s/o soothing words and pets to their hair. She makes her s/o elven tea to drink.

Aisha has already read on how to comfort fear, and does her best to calm down her s/o based on her studies. She makes them take deep breaths while holding their hand.

Raven already has nightmares, so he understands what his s/o is going through. Both of them wake up from his s/o turning in his sleep and he holds them tightly to calm them down.

Eve is the most clueless on what to do, because she’s never had dreams before. When her s/o wakes up she will let them talk to her about the dream while she searches data on how to comfort and prevent them.

Chung gets worried immediately, and takes his s/o’s hands and hugs them after waking up. He talks to them softly and reassures them that everything would be okay.

Ara would be just as distressed as they are, which may make her s/o even more upset. She scrambles out to get something that her s/o would like, but probably messes up in the process. He s/o calms down anyway, watching Ara try her hardest to cheer them up.

Elesis keeps a stern face but hints of worry can be found in her eyes. She would be there for her s/o for a little while and when the atmosphere turns less serious, she cracks some jokes. She reasons it’s because laughter is the best medicine.

Add would honestly not know what to do. He sits next to his s/o awkwardly silent most of the time holding hands and him searching his mind to figure out what to say to them. His s/o relaxes in the peace.

Lu would be woken up by her s/o mumbling their sleep. She would be really grumpy at first, but then drops her attitude to take care of her s/o.

Ciel immediately wakes up his troubled s/o to hug and ask them what happened. He uses his cooking skills to make a nice relaxing herb tea for them and they cuddle after as his s/o drifts back to sleep.

Rose tries to be there for her s/o as best as she can. She tells stories about the best times she’s spent with her Princess to make them feel better.

Ain is confused, but sees his s/o crying from the dream and asks them what’s wrong. He isn’t exactly sure on what to do here and he tells this to his s/o. Just being there is enough for them.

Glave is more distant than anyone else. He acts like doesn’t want to deal with an upset s/o but he will talk to them to ease the fear.

Add vehemently denying he'd ever get an emo phase. The Elgang believes him. Fast forward a few years and you've got LP. Someone comments about how they've heard that some get their phase later on in life.

“For the last time, I never had an emo phase!” Add growled and turned his back to huff.  Not too long after Elsword went through his “emo episode”, that was all the group would talk about.  Did they have nothing else better to discuss about?  He had his hand over his forehead with annoyance.

“You sure?” Lu teased with her fangs poking out from her lips in a grin, “Black clothes, pale skin,” she listed off the stereotypes of the strange subculture he never heard of until he traveled 300 years into the future.

“Shirt,” the tracer pulled the black shirt inside his short-sleeved jacket for emphasis.  “I wear mostly white.”

“For now,” she laughed.

“Lu,” Ciel warned her.  “He already said he wasn’t emo.”  He smiled at her grumbling and ruffled her hair.

Add lowered his eyelids at the absurd conversation.  Idiots.

The reaction he received from the group when he returned from his long absence of solo training was more than what he expected.  Why was everyone staring at him?Add felt his fluffy white hair and tried to flatten it with his hand with no success.  The static electricity wasn’t helping his hair and he was covered in sweat from the long workout he returned from.  The Lunatic Psyker glared at the stares he received from the nearest person and snapped, “Was it something I said?”

Lu giggled, “You wear mostly white, huh?”  The Chiliarch’s tail wiggled in glee at the potential blackmail material before her eyes.

Add looked down at the black vest and pants he wore and argued, “It’s not emo!” He wanted to punch whoever whispered, “I hear some go through it later in life.”  Who the hell said that?  Add didn’t miss the all knowing smile Lu was giving him and ran after her with the former demon queen cackling.
