Hi! If you don't mind me asking- How did you make your goggles for Hatsume?

Sure, no problem. There’s no actual goggles in them or anything - the tubes for the eyes, the nose bridge, and some of the decorative bits are craft foam, the pipes on the top are pvc pipe connectors, and the bands are all felt. The eyepieces are yellow binder separators, the clear plastic kind? Then everything except the metallic parts I covered in pleather with contact cement. The metal bits are either actual metal (the d-ring things), metallic model paint (the pvc pipes and the “rivets” which are just painted stick-on pearls) or metallic contact paper (the rings around the eyepieces).

Does that answer your question? If there’s something specific you wanted to know about just ask, I like talking about making things 8)

Here’s all the photos that my boyfriend took of Kelsey and I as Hannah and Betty from Rat Queens! I had so much fun with this. I already have a lot of things that I want to update before I wear it again but Hannah is definitely my favorite cosplay now. <3

Your Dolorosa is so pretty >u< Might I ask how you made it? Did you sew all those stripes together? Your mantle looks wonderful too but I can't seem to figure out what it's made out of either. I was thinking craft foam but it's a little shiny.

Ah, thank you! No, the stripes on the drape-thing are actually… um… sharpie… I bought the green fabric and sharpied on black stripes. The stripes on the dress are bias tape from the same fabric, though. The mantle is wonderflex (unnecessary) and papier mache (more useful).
