It’s dark outside when Prince passes by Morality’s door, wielding a sword in one hand and his shield in the other—dragons never wanted pick a fight in the daytime—when he hears it: soft, muffled crying coming from inside the room, heart-wrenching and deeply concerning.

Prince takes a cautious step forward, squaring his shoulders and drawing his sword instinctively as he quickly switches back into battle-mode. The sound persists, and he shifts his shield to grab the doorknob, twisting it slowly before he bursts inside — sword already swinging.

Imagine that you are best friends with Jane foster. So when Thor comes crashing down to earth and all that random romance happens, you get invited to their wedding in Asgard. It is there that you meet the Royal Family, including Loki (because let’s say in this universe Loki didn’t do any of the stuff he did to fall off the bridge, because why not?).

You join the Family at the high table and while having a perfectly reasonable interrogation of the Royal Family(Jane only deserves the best). Loki, deciding to live up to his title of the God of Mischief, turns your drink into a snake (constrictor). What Loki doesn’t realise is that you love snakes and therefore you start cooing at it like a normal person would a baby or puppy. Loki and everyone else is rather confused (apart from Jane who’s debating if it’s too late to throw you off a cliff because you do this kind of thing far too often).

I would reaaaally like you to write a pirate/princess one shot ! You wrote Only For One Night and I loved every single part of it, so a pirate/princess one shot could be interesting ☺️

Author’s note: Good news! My computer is back! Rootkit viruses are nasty, people. Better news? I come bearing the new Captain Duckling AU! It’s already up on FF.net and AO3 (I’ll add the links) but if you’ve been waiting to see it here, I can finally post it. Even better? It’s not a one shot. I’m not sure how many parts (as per usual, lol) but I think it’ll be fun. And hot. I hope you like it!

Summary: What happens when a revenge obsessed pirate meets a princess at a ball?

How Lucky We Are

Chapter One

Present Day

She looked out her balcony window; the view was the perfect distraction as the seamstress and her assistant hovered around her, pinning and sewing her new ball gown. No one needed to know she was looking for something – or more specifically, for someone.

Three months had passed, three lonely dreary months since she’d seen him, held him, felt his skin on hers. The cheerful summer weather seemed to mock her; she’d had to act as if nothing was wrong, as if she was excited for all the goings on in her parents’ kingdom. Summer used to be her favorite time of year, but now she simply dreaded it.

Summer kept her lover from her and she did not like it one bit.

Was this what her life would be from now on? Waiting, deception? She did not enjoy lying to her parents, but what choice did she have? If they knew she’d been seduced by (and seducer of) the most notorious pirate in all the realms, at best they’d be disappointed, at worst, they’d have Killian executed. If they could capture him. He was resourceful, her pirate, and Emma resolved to run away with him if things took a bad turn.

She didn’t quite know when or how it had happened but she’d fallen in love with the handsome, dangerous pirate and she refused to give him up. Not even for a kingdom.
