Such a beauty! The Rotonde de @Cartier Double Mystery Tourbillon. The flying tourbillon, which turns once on its own axis every 60 seconds, appears to be floating completely free in space, with no visible connection to any gear train. The illusion is complete when the same tourbillon cage starts to perform a second rotation of the transparent space at a rate of one turn every five minutes | Courtesy of @Milanese | #Cartier #CartierTourbillon #RotondeDeCartier #SwissWatches

Not my kind but mechanically interesting: Rotonde de Cartier Astrotourbillon Skeleton with the tourbillon making a complete circle of the dial to mark the seconds. 47mm case in white gold. 100 pcs. We wrote about it last December.

🌐 The Rotonde de @Cartier Earth and Moon - A tourbillon has been incorporated into a moon phase complication, each depending on the other. Pusher at two is for the second time zone, while the one at four is for the on-demand moon phase. By pressing the push-button (at four o'clock) a panel goes down and partially obscures the Tourbillon carriage. The crescent thus formed reproduces exactly the moon’s shape in the sky. | #Cartier © #TeamWatchAnish #EarthAndMoon #RotondeDeCartier #CartierTourbillon #SwissWatches
