I hate how Disney is treating Lando Calrissian. In Rebels Lando was betraying/using the heroes and he was physically hurt by Hera. In the book "Aftermath Life Debt" (1 year after ROTJ) shows that Lando was a... casino even when he clearly was a fantastic general and responsable enough to work with New Republic. I'm worried what they will do to Lando in Han Solo Movie, he deserves better

(idk what casino means in this context?) but what the fuck, Lando’s most definitely a hero and honestly it’s so gross how both fans and canon continue to make him out to be some sort of greedy ass who only cares for himself.

I was about to ask you if you could write Anakin and Luke spending Luke's birthday together or in a fancy restaurant for a change in the Vader Survives ROTJ verse. I just realized as i typed the words that Leia shares his birthday since she is his twin. And I just, that would be awkward in the restaurant, im not even sure she would want to talk to him and i got really really sad :(

Leia’s relationship with Anakin is tumultuous to say the least. I think she would eventually be able to tolerate him for Luke’s sake, but I doubt it would ever move much past that.

Anakin might take Luke out for his birthday, but I doubt Leia would go with. And Luke wouldn’t necessarily want to celebrate without her, even if they have a big family party (that includes all the not-quite-family-but-basically, like the Rogues and the Imperials who followed their commander, like Piett and Veers, because in this AU the Executor didn’t get destroyed, and they survived and followed Vader/Anakin over).

People still think of Lando as “The Guy Who Betrayed The Trio” and that’s some grade A bull.

I mean what would you do if you had people to protect and Darth Vader, Scariest Dude in the Galaxy, comes marching up to your door with a whole battalion of soldiers? Like? How much choice do you think he actually had here? Not much because Vader literally changes the rules on him every scene they’re together so the deal goes from “Trap the smuggler and his friends” to “Han’s being tortured and frozen in carbonite and taken away and the others that were supposed to be left untouched are also being taken capture indefinitely right now” and Lando has all of no control over any of it.

And then the second he realizes what’s happened he risks everything to help Chewie and Leia out. Leaves his cozy home to help them. Joins the Rebellion? Frees Han? Blows up the second Death Star?

But sure he’s just that sleaze ball who betrayed the gang. Sure.
