Giraffe Manor is a hotel in Nairobi, which is home to a number of Rothschild Giraffes. In partnership with the Giraffe Centre, the giraffes are a part of a breeding program, aiming to help reintroduce successful breeding pairs into the wild.
The Manor was purchased by Betty Leslie-Melville in 1974 who converted the home into a giraffe sanctuary after discovering how endangered the Rothschilde Giraffe species were.
Now also a hotel, there are 6 guest rooms available, and has become famous for guests being able to share breakfast with the giraffes through the windows of the dining room.
Notable guests of this hotel include Mick Jagger & Richard Branson.
