“My plans are specifically laid, Protege, and we are making sure those plans stay in place. Understood?”
It’s back. As a Christmas gift for not finishing it during October, I am going to finish this by the end of December. Ready yourselves. Prepare for a real nightmare before Christmas. THE ROTBTD HALLOWEEN PROMPT CHALLENGE, ACT II
"I don’t know what it’s like to be cast out? To not be believed in! To long for… a familiy… All those years in the shadows, I thought no one else knows what this feels like… but now I see I was wrong.“
“But then I saw the moon. it was so big and it was so bright, and it seemed to chase the darkness away. And when it did, I wasn’t scared anymore. Why I was there, and what I was meant to do - that I’ve never known. And a part of me wonders if I ever will.”
For this I’m going to nominate all four of the films because they all have amazing animations. The sand in Rise of the Guardians and the fact Jack actually has veins on his hand (omfg the details), Merida and Rapunzel’s hair (wow imagine working on that) and Toothless! Also, I saw all of the films in 3D in the cinema and they were the best 3D films I saw (particularly How to Train your Dragon because flying and dragons omfg).
Well, I like HTTYD a lot as well but this movie gave me feelings I haven’t felt about a movie since I saw Watchmen for the first time. It felt new and exciting to me and it left me with so many wonderful questions and opportunities to a sequel.
I’m also still so fascinated with the fact that they did a main character-death on screen and just that scene was so brilliantly and subtly horrible and fantastic at the same time. I also loved ALL the characters and that’s very rare for me. If it were a little more dramatic at the ending this would’ve been perfect.
Berk from How to train your dragon. Why? I WANT A PET DRAGON!!!!!! Plus it looks really beautiful there, I love forests and oceans, but it would be really awesome to have a pet dragon. Also, I love the Scottish accent so yes I think I would enjoy it there.
So why Jack out of the four?
Well, He’s the one I relate to the most. Mostly attitude-wise than situation-wise. After all, I didn’t die and come back as a winter spirit, I also didn’t risk my life saving my younger sister and I wasn’t alone for 300 years but beside that.. I am a person who rather stay positive than dwell on my problems, I like to make fun of my friends and I can be a bit competetive. I’m also very protective and can put on the older sibling role quite easily, even if I haven’t been an older sibling until 2010, I have been the voice of reason between friends many times though.
He’s also very adorable and probably a guy I would marry if I met someone like him. Yep.
I really love Mother Gothel because she made me laugh the most due to her funny comments, though I really love Pitch the most because he has such an interesting appearance, and I can’t help but feel sorry for him and wonder what sort of a backstory he has.
Gonna take one from each film..
Rise Of The GuardiansNorth: We are very busy bringing joy to children. We don’t have time….for children.—How To Train Your DragonSnotlout: [on top of the Green Death, whacking its eyes with his hammer] I can’t miss! What’s wrong, buddy? Got somethin’ in your eye?
BraveKing Fergus: [shrilly voice] I don’t want to get married, I want to stay single and let my hair flow in the wind as I ride through the glen firing arrows into the sunset.
Mother Gothel: Look in that mirror. I see a strong, confident, beautiful young lady.
