Courage, Wisdom, and Power - Spell
  • When: full moon
  • Need:
  • 1 red candle
  • 1 purple candle
  • 1 white candle
  • 1 silk rope (any length)
  • Procedure:
  • Cast your circle
  • Might the candles and lay the rope on your altar
  • Chant as you tie a knot in the rope:
  • "With this rope I bind thine power, to be mine for second or hour. To make me strong when I am weak. To give me wisdom that I seek. To give me courage as not to flee. Thine will be done, so not it be."
  • Keep the rope with or near you to receive the power and courage you requested, but only use these gifts for selfless reasons and remember the Threefold Law.

Monk: I attack the goblin. With my fists!

Wizard: Stop hitting the thing with your fists! You have a perfectly good weapon!

Me [Cleric]: This is literally the fifth fight you’ve done this for–I’m going to stop healing you for stupid things.

*next fight*

Monk: I attack the goblin closest to Dzirt [Wizard]. With my fists!

Wizard: I cast my rope spell on the monk. *rolls die*

Monk: What?!? *rolls die*

DM: You successfully tie up the monk.

Fighter: Can we just leave him there?

DM: It is a safe area.
