headcanon about plagg's behavior when he saw The Book

as we all know, plagg reacted quite differently when he saw the book, as opposed to tikki who was all, “OMFG GET THE BOOK, MARINETTE”. he reacted quite typically: “duuude, i’m hungry, let’s goooo”.

but, it’s still strange. for what it’s worth, when he listed the things inside the safe, he didn’t mention the peacock brooch thing (r.i.p. my french, please correct me if i’m wrong).

imagine these though.

imagine plagg’s blood running cold when he saw The Book and The Brooch. imagine him freezing up for a split second when he saw “Tibet”. imagine him picking up the pieces together when he saw mama agreste’s picture.

imagine him asking the world what his charge, the poor boy, ever did in his previous life that adrien deserved this.

of course, adrien is close to his heart, considering that the cinnamon roll only wanted one thing in his life which was love. imagine plagg in that one or maybe two, three seconds he was in the safe alone running through all adrien’s possible reactions when he finds out that his father is the papillon. one thing was for sure–it would definitely crush adrien’s heart.

plagg cannot bear it if one of his kittens get hurt.

that’s why he tried getting him away from The Vile Book. that’s why he didn’t mention The Brooch. that’s why he acted like his old silly self.

all so that adrien wouldn’t get the wrong (BUT ACTUALLY RIGHT) assumption.

Been busy with stuff and things, so have a cropped version of a drawing I did back in 2014 and never posted on this blog

Money Pots and Prosperity Boxes.

Developing meaningful relationship with money.

*Put this together on a Thursday, during the Waxing to Full moon. Alterntively, Thursday sun rise to high noon works too, when the clockhand is going upwards on the clock (Thanks Mama Starr for this trick).*

“Why do people talk of the horrors of old age? It’s great. I feel like a fine old car with the parts gradually wearing out, but I’m not complaining,… Those who find growing old terrible are people who haven’t done what they wanted with their lives.” - Martha Gellhorn

4/5 Stars.

If you ever wondered what happened to young Danny Torrance after his fateful winter at the Overlook Hotel, this book is for you.

We meet Dan again in his 30s. Haunted by his childhood, he finds himself following in his father’s footsteps and turns to the bottle. Finally, after hitting rock bottom, he seeks the help he needs and joins AA.

Dan’s special ability—his shining—links him to a 12-year-old girl named Abra who possesses this same talent. But Abra is in danger. There’s a group of powerful vampires called the True Knot traveling the country, feeding off of the essence of children who shine—and they’re coming for her next.

As always, King weaves a masterful story rooted in the strength of its characters. While the True Knot itself is a fascinating creation that propels the story forward, Doctor Sleep is really about Dan and his personal demons as he attempts to evade the legacy of his father and create a healthy, meaningful life for himself. We can’t escape our past (or our genes, for that matter), but we can overcome them if we’re willing to put up a hell of a fight.

I loved most of this book, though I did find the epic showdown that it gradually led to a bit muddled and abrupt when it finally arrived.

Nevertheless, fans of The Shining will likely appreciate this anticipated follow-up.

||two years

Since I did my big chop. As you can see I changed the color since last time. I’m still working on toning out the roots. I’ve also mastered my twist out routine. So now I can have manageable curls. Over this hair journey I’ve found new love for my hair and I feel now it really expresses my personality. Another year down, many to come.

How Shaw really knew

Did no one gif-ed Root going

“I really don’t know what’s going to happen when we pull the trigger…”

in her sing-song voice, grinning with tears in her eyes and a gun to her head.

Cause THAT’s the moment Shaw realised it’s really Root. That’s her annoyingly unpredictable, never an empty threat, forever one step ahead psycho.

That’s her Root. The one that makes her go WTF.

“Two-time GRAMMY Award winner and 2006 Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Merle Haggard was an uncommon hero in country music. An exceptional multitalented singer/songwriter, guitarist, and fiddler, Merle’s massive success was rooted in his masterful ability to celebrate the outlaws and the underdogs. Merle’s extraordinary talent resulted in more than 30 No. 1 country hits and his remarkable performances will forever live on and inspire music creators worldwide. We have lost an innovative member of the music community and our sincerest condolences go out to Merle’s family, friends, collaborators and all who have been impacted by his incredible work.
