Lee Jordan as Quidditch commentator

Omg can someone please write a scene where Sirius finds out how bad the Dursleys have been treating Harry, like not only that they told him that James and Lily where killed in a car crash (which could have been understandable) they also told him that James was an unemployed drunk and that Lily was a ‘freak’ (Which Sirius would have absolutely been furious about) but that they LITERALLY ABUSED Harry not feeding him for days at a time, keeping him in a broom closet until his teenaged years. JUST IMAGINE how Sirius would react that his blessed little Godson being hurt by the Dursleys bc of Petunias Jealously or Vernons general shittiness just omg pls I need 'wizard mass murderer’ Sirius Black to just go off on muggle af Vernon please some one do Gods work and write this

Harry Potter head canon

Dudley’s daughter is a witch. On the train to hogwarts her first year she meets two interesting red heads, cousins, who are also first years, named Lily and Hugo.

(I head canon them all being in hufflepuff, but you know. -Izzy)

No but can you imagine

Lily buying a phone just to call petunia because she knew it would make their relationship worse if she ever tried to send her a letter by owl post.

Petunia hanging up the phone every time she hears Lily’s voice, so lily always calls back and leaves a message on the answering machine, because Vernon always gets the latest technology and has an answering machine that records the messages on tapes.

Lily leaving Petunia messages with all her important news hoping that she will get a call back.

Lily calling Petunia to tell her that James had proposed and would she please please be her maid of honour, and that she’s so sorry they haven’t talked much lately.

Lily calling Petunia the night before her wedding, begging her to at least show up and see her on her wedding day.

Lily calling Petunia when she gets back from her honeymoon, telling Petunia that she misses her and does she have any advice for being married.

Lily calling Petunia to congratulate her on being pregnant, because Lily found out from a childhood friend that she ran into one day in London.

Lily calling Petunia to tell her that she is also pregnant and that she’s so scared and excited, but could Petunia please call her back and maybe they could get a coffee and chat about being pregnant at the same time.

Lily calling Petunia when Harry is born and begging her to meet up together so that Harry and Dudley can meet.

Lily calling Petunia one last time just to tell Petunia that she misses her every day, and starts crying in the message because she hates that they aren’t friends.

And years later, Petunia shrieking at Vernon for throwing out their answering machine for the latest digital answering machine. Petunia going to a local second-hand shop to find a used tape-deck answering machine. Petunia locking herself in her bedroom, grabbing a small box from under the bed and taking out all of the tapes with Lily’s messages on and playing them over and over again until she’s cried herself to sleep.

Mr. and Mrs. Dursley, of number four Privet Drive, were proud to say that they were perfectly normal, thank you very much
—  J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone

Harry’s behaviour in Order of the Phoenix might be considered annoying, mean, ungrateful and overdramatic but it’s valid and important.
This boy (emphasis on boy!!) has gone through so much in his fourth year at hogwarts (when he was only fourteen years old!!): a life threatening tournament he didn’t even want to participate in, being bullied by almost the whole school including his best friend, Voldemorts return (friendly reminder what Wormtail did to Harry in order to resurrect his master), Cedric’s death - which didn’t have a slightest chance to prevent, etc.
(Not to mention all the crap he survived in his previous years at Hogwarts, plus his life with the Dursleys and the homicide of his parents, etc.)
Harry is only 15 years old back in his fifth year - so basically still a child, in puberty - and has to deal with so much baggage/pain.. he’s traumatized and probably suffers from ptsd.
Oh and now, there’s this corrupt ministry witch who tries to take over Hogwarts - his safe and beloved home (friendly reminder that she also didn’t bother to torture him and some other students) while he’s supposed to do great in his O.W.L. exams.
(Again not to mention how bad his fifth year ended - because well, it’s even to heartbreaking for me to mention.)
Conclusion: Harry James Potter has every right to be angry and mad and hurt.
(Though it doesn’t automatically excuse how he hurts his friends by being mean to them.)
