“Those “what’s in your bag” memes always sound like fun but also I…”

meg ur a goddamn icon

I’m genuinely afraid to ask what type of icon you mean, because I just looked through and right now my poor Timbuk2 small messenger is holding:

  • Wallet
  • House keys with Heartless symbol keychain and wristband from Oregon Brewers Festival
  • Work keys, divided by section of building because two minutes of effort allowed me to find a key with less effort, decorated with plush of Hello Kitty dressed as Chococat, rainbow wrist leash Amy made me, a Rogue Nation silicone wristband from when Rogue did the donation beer for Rose Haven (no, wait, it was a freebie from the mother’s day walk Amy saved) and a ring from a bottle of juice that someone from Memory Care solemnly handed me, so I supposed it must be important
  • Samsung Chromebook 3 tediously flashed and with GalliumOS installed instead of Chrome
  • Knitting bag with half finished sock (purple)
  • Composition book notebook, although may get a smaller, refillable one at art store (update: could not make self pay $15 for it so got cheaper one by same brand to test paper)
  • Zipper pouch full of pens, mostly purple, mostly gel or fiber tip waterproof, one fourcolor ball point
  • Loose pen, also purple
  • “Feminine supplies”
  • Cut up OBF wristband, presumably to use as a bookmark
  • A tube of super glue, sealed, no nozzle
  • Red sparkly fingernail polish
  • Ibuprofen
  • A can opener (full sized, not beer sized)
  • Last pay periods pay stub
  • Hair nonsense including full sized comb, a hair tie, and four long pins
  • Charger
  • Headphones
  • A stylus shaped like a cartoon pencil
  • Five sheets of a pad of large post it notes from one of the hospice companies trying to get our business
  • My name tag from work
  • A small bottle of lotion
  • A thing of anti itch gel
  • One sock
  • A lighter, presumably from/for Amy
  • A package of pudding Amy found on sale like a month ago
  • Receipts
  • Loose change
  • Two Werthers butterscotch candies Nikki at the Mousetrap gave me
  • Some biscuit wrappers
  • One horse chestnut

Leave it to Portland, Oregon

Inspired by Voodoo Doughnut’s Voodoo Doll doughnut, Rogue Brewery’s Pretzel, Chocolate & Raspberry Ale is the third Voodoo Doughnuts flavored ale to be released. We tried it last night and decided it wasn’t too bad! You can definitely taste the fruit and the chocolate, but I’m not sure I could identify the pretzel. It’s a dark ale that left a nice taste in my mouth.

Brewed with 14 ingredients: 2-Row, Munich, C120, Chocolate, Black, Kiln Coffee, and Rogue Farms Dare™ and Risk™ malts; Rogue Farms Rebel hops; pretzels, raspberry extract, Pacman Yeast and free flowing coastal water, with no chemicals, additives or preservatives.

I threw in a picture of a fresh, still warm Voodoo Doll doughnut for good measure. Eat your hearts out.

WIP: you shall love your crooked neighbor with your crooked heart

Darcy Lewis ran a very lucrative operation - and was great eye candy, to boot.

It was a rather neat little set up, and she was rather proud of it.  She provided proof - whether or not it was factual - to those who needed it, for a tidy little sum. No questions asked, no pleasantries exchanged.  You simply walked into the bar where she worked, ordered a certain drink, and got a little something extra on the side.

Sure, it wasn’t the most legal of professions….but since when did rules stop Darcy Lewis from doing anything?
