Day 111 - Roentgenium
In the seventh Period and the eleventh Group, Roentgenium was named after the scientist who discovered x-rays.
Roentgenium was discovered in the same town as Darmstadtium by the same team.
Roentgenium is radioactive and thought to be a solid at room temperature.
The atomic weight of Roentgenium is based off the longest living isotope with a half life of about 28 seconds.
Who would have guessed, Roentgenium is yet another synthetic element with no commercial uses!
