Anchors Away Western Shirt by Rockmount (about 1/3 down the page - terrible navigation on that site).

The anchors on the chest are a wee too big - take them down by about 15%. Shirt makers should treat that area like good design and not fear the “white space”. The back I dig, but another perspective to design is that the front pieces could be part of a bigger story told on the back, but from a manufacturing perspective that’s probably a lot of trouble.

It appears that i’m due for another thrifting post. I found two interesting pieces this week. The first is a very cool Rockmount Ranchwear shirt. Truly a piece of Americana as everyone from Eric Clapton to Robert Redford has worn one at least once. As with most thrifters, the compulsion to become a label whore is always there and many times the name isn’t necessarily indicative of quality. My second piece this week however appears to live up to its name. A beautiful Prada, woven cotton button up short sleeve shirt - with mother of pearl buttons. Naturally assuming the fit was going to be a bit douche-y, I gave it a shot and to my amazement it was spot on and not overly tight. Total cost for everything was $15-.
