There I was, minding my own business when suddenly intense Luffy and Robin nakama feels hit me.

That’s a lie. I always have feelings for these two.

i love telling people robin is my favourite superhero because even though i do have a favourite robin out of them all its really the concept of robin that enchants me so much what the heck.. possibly the darkest and most mysterious member of the justice league, the terror of gothams underworld, the fearsome, the awe-inspiring Bat-Man, oh yeah and heres his little kid dressed in red yellow and green!! robin just balances batman out perfectly i LOVE the idea of having an audience surrogate for one of the most inaccessible heroes of all time , a bright companion for the Dark Knight, a character who represents conscience, a character who represents all the good batman fights for but forgets about ,    a family for a hero born from an orphan past, all i gotta say is batman and robin forever rah rah rah

Just a little reminder for JayTim shippers:

● Jason and Tim aren’t related and even Tim stated that Bruce isn’t technically Jason’s dad anymore, as you can see here:

They weren’t raised together or stuff like that so there’s no reason why he should necessarily consider Jason as his brother (I’m not saying that It’s not ok or possible to see them as brothers, I’m just proving a point)

● They overcame their problems and even If the writers didn’t make a perfect job exploring this important aspect of their relationship, there are still some conversations to prove that:

(Oh Gosh I love this panel so much)

● Tim always cared about Jason:

(even in young justice)
● And he still cares (and considers him as his partner):

(”you’re not just the man under the Red Hood” is actually one of my favourite JayTim quotes ♥ Tim is so sweet)

● Jason eventually got psychologically better and started to care about Tim, to see him as a partner:

Just look at the pictures, the ship sails Itself:

● Aaaand It’s not pedophilia because: (Sorry I always quote you, I just love your post lol)

SO our ship is perfectly normal and you’re perfectly normal, bye.

Five Little Words

Characters: Y/N (reader), Jensen Ackles, Natalia (OFC)

Pairing: Jensen x Reader

Warnings: Power outage, bad weather (no one is in danger but it sounds scary), mention of crappy ex, mention of abandonment, Jensen singing (and hell yes that is a warning!).

Word Count: 3100ish

A/N: This is a three in one ;) I hope I won’t dissappoint anyone. A while ago I did this tumblr game thing where I let people send me a “I wish you would write a fic where…” I told a few people I would do theirs. @chaos-and-the-calm67 said this:

I wish you would write a fic where Jensen and the Reader get stuck in a room when the lights go out (place of your choosing) so they sit in the dark and get to talkin’ and when the lights come back, Jensen asks the Reader out :)

I changed it a little Bev, but I hope you still like it.

This is my entry for @buckysmetallicstump‘s Disney Quote Challenge where my prompt was “You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.” — Christopher Robin, Winnie the Pooh as well as my entry for @iwriteaboutdean 200 follower challenge where my prompt was “Kiss Me” - Sixpence None the Richer.

Song also used Return to Pooh Corner by Kenny Loggins.

Thanks to amazingly talented @blacktithe7 for betaing this one for me.

No hate towards Danneel intended. Her and Jensen are my otp. This is just fiction. Also no mention of Supernatural in this one so I guess if you prefer to see it as an AU it could be that.

The storm was raging outside. It seemed to have hit the town out of nowhere. You hated that you had to go out in this weather, but your washing machine was broken. It was your turn to wash your daughter’s softball mini league uniforms, and she needed them tomorrow. So you didn’t have a choice. You sighed as you watched the darkness outside the glass doors  that were almost quivering in the wind. You quietly folded the uniforms as you dreaded having to head home in the storm. Luckily your little girl didn’t pay much attention, she had never been to fond of lightning storms, but she seemed to slowly be growing out of her fear of them. She was too busy playing with her favourite toy, her Winnie the Pooh teddy.

Natalie made you so proud. She was a tomboy who played softball and soccer, and still she was one of the most artistic and imaginative kids in her class. She made up stories and loved drawing little pictures to go with them. She was a special little girl and the light of your life.

Tharja Rant

Okay, I see a lot of hate for Tharja (Some aimed directly at me) and I feel a need to explain why I like her and shes one of my favourite characters

I’ll start off with the most glaring issue, the stalking, Im not going to defend her stalking, but as its stated in her support with Gaius, she has the power to completely make Robin fall in love with her, but she chooses not out of respect and faith that if Robin was to love her, it would have to be legit romance, she would rather be alone than to actually force him to love her. Which is why I find it really cute when Robin does realise she actually cares for him and how shes a kinder person than what she first appears to be.

In many of her supports she shows that shes worried about how people think of her, about how she thinks some people thinks she will betray them, she doesn’t think people would actually want to just be friends with her so she shuts herself out, but slowly opens up to those she cares about, she goes out of her way to perform curses and hexes in order to help others out, including letting a ghost control her body which could even kill her in order for Gregor to talk to his brother

She has a strange desire to hide that shes done something nice for other people, even to request the people who knows to not tell others, and with her support with Virion clicks on that Tharja used him but only to assist others, to cook for the army and to build a bridge for children to use to cross a river.

Now about how shes dressed, and how shes a “Slut”, this is just what Dark Mages wear, its never really explained as to why, but Tharja doesn’t seem to mind, she states she doesn’t care all to much about appearances or sexual appeal to Vaike when he states that Robin has a hot body. And during the Summer Scramble she declares how she doesnt think anyone would like her body saying “Nobody would want to see ME in this” when putting on her swimsuit, and how shes always holding a tome to her chest to cover her boobs. I dont really see how this is her being a “slut”

And now for one of the things that bother me the most, people who say Tharja is abusive to Noire, and I want to point out people who say they Hate Tharja because shes a stalker yet they “Love Noire”, its clear that these people are just using Noire as tool to voice their hate for Tharja and that they dont know anything about Noire, since Noire herself has a stalker like crush.

Its stated, multiple times that Tharja loves Noire, and how protective she is of her, she will murder and actually did die to save her. She sees amazing potential in Noire when it comes to curses but she refuses to teach her that because they’res a chance that it could backfire and hurt Noire, as stated earlier with Gregor.

In The Future Past DLC, Tharja makes a joke to Noire that she could have been resurrected from the dead, Noire is so happy to she her mother and she begs to never lose her mother again, Tharja then feels guilty about a joke that struck the wrong cord, apologises to her and informs her that shes not her mother but from a different world, she doesnt have a lot of time but wants to make sure that anyone who attempted to cause harm to her suffers, Noire starts crying tears of joy and Tharja doesnt understand how to deal with that and announces that shes going to start fighting to defend Noire, Noire says “This is just like old times”, which is saying that shes always been protective of Noire

As for the cursing Tharja did to Noire, I believe, with all the other things taken into consideration from her other supports and conversations with Noire, I believe that Tharja was cursing her in order to make Noire stronger, so that Noire could survive, since Tharja knew she wouldn’t be able to protect her forever. Its stated that Noire never used a bow in her life, yet when she needed to she was an expert with it, Tharja has been improving her capabilities, but the one thing Tharja couldnt bring herself to change is Noires personality, her timidness would get in the way to much, but Tharja doesnt want to force her to be different, which is why she created Noires Talisman, something Noire has control over to help also improve herself when she needs it

She loves Noire but just is afraid to show it, she doesn’t understand how to raise a child and just does what she knows, Tharja herself  was also cursed as a child so this is normal to her. In the end it states that Noire sticks around so she can stay with her mother and have more time together and to assist in raising the current timeline Noire, which is one of the most touching things in my opinion.

Its all this, that you have to take from multiple supports and consideration is why I love Tharja, she feels like an actual person, she has her own desires, fears, worries and her own personality starts to form with all this. And yet people just say shes a whore based on what she wears.

Tharja and Robin is my OTP, and I love them both so much

(more rambling about beginner decks)

I’M SORRY I’M NOT SHUTTING UP ABOUT THIS but you guys I’ve had years to think on this and @mother-of-swords started a great discussion.

One other thing to note is that beginner deck doesn’t necessarily mean “first deck”. Like, my first deck was the Mythic Tarot, which I actually think is a great deck for beginners in the sense that the cards relate to Greek mythology and a lot of us either have a natural interest in that or learned it in middle school probably. So there’s a lot to draw from there already.

But god I hated that deck after like, three days. I couldn’t work with it at all and didn’t understand anything. Which sucked, like a lot!! Later, it became one of my favourite decks (and I miss it dearly now that I don’t have it anymore) but it just wasn’t right for me at the time.

After that I got the Goddess Tarot. This….wasn’t any better. And the less said about my time with that deck, the better.

Next, I got the one two punch of the Robin Wood Tarot and the Housewives Tarot. The Robin Wood Tarot was very well done and very accessible to me, and it shaped a lot of the way I think about tarot.

But I learned how to read tarot on the Housewives Tarot.

This is not often considered a “beginner” deck. In fact, it’s considered a novelty deck, which generally means “no one should seriously read with it”. (Novelty decks are, of course, now my favourite decks to read with)

My beginner deck was the Housewives Tarot, because it perfectly spoke to who I was, what I liked, who I wanted to be, and how I thought at the time. To this day it is probably the cherished deck in my collection, despite still being readily available and cheap. It was not my first deck. Certainly wasn’t my last deck. But it’s what I learned on.

With that in mind, I didn’t get a proper Rider Waite deck until I’d been reading tarot for almost a decade, so. You manage, is what I’m saying with all of these words everywhere.

Have you heard the story of how Robin Hood, the classic Chaotic Good icon, is actually Lawful Good? In some versions of the story, he is specifically defying the unjust laws and sheriffs appointed by someone who is not the rightful King, and protecting the people against the abuse of power. When King Richard returns from war, Robin stops being an outlaw and actually serves him because now the laws will be carried out in a Lawful Good manner. If this is true, who is the new CG archetype?

Oh dear…

OK, let’s drop some names. The premise of this version is that brave King Richard the Lionheart is off to the Crusades, fighting in the Holy Land or held captive in Austria. In his absence, his coward brother John plots to usurp the throne, oppresses the people, and imposes unfair taxes on them.

Robin Hood supports the good king Richard, fights mean usurper John and his mean sheriffs, and collects the ransom required for the good king’s release (or waits until the king comes back). Either way, Richard restores justice in the end, and Robin gives up his outlaw life. All rejoice, the end.

And this is my least favourite version of Robin Hood.

It’s not very old. It’s 20th century, though the seeds were planted earlier by Walter Scott in Ivanhoe. It appeared in the 1922 film Robin Hood, with Douglas Fairbanks, and it got picked up by others later - Errol Flynn’s and Disney’s versions, most notably. And don’t get me wrong, the films themselves are great, but this specific element of the story REALLY riles me up. You know why?

  • One, because fuck kings in general.
  • Two, because Richard the Lionheart? Really? That’s the good king? The warmongering moron who treated his kingdom “merely as a source of revenue to support his armies”? And you’re blaming John for excessive taxes? REALLY NOW??
  • And three, because what’s even the point of glorifying an outlaw if you cop out in the end and make him law-abiding? It’s a classic case of “Hollywood destroys everything”. Boo, I say!

Robin Hood is a folk legend. He doesn’t have a canon, nothing is “true”, it’s all fanfiction. If you like your version better, then that’s great. And if you want to call that version Lawful Good, I’m not gonna stop you. (Though using unlawful means for lawful ends sounds pretty Neutral to me, at least when other avenues haven’t been considered. And the “stealing from the rich” bit doesn’t get addressed in your analysis, unless good king Richard embarked on a grand project of wealth redistribution when he came back and I missed it.)

Still, if the LG square of the alignment chart is occupied by that Robin Hood, I have some great news for the CG square: the other Robin Hood is still available.

And for me, the most iconic Chaotic Good figure is and will always be him, the quintessential Robin Hood: the one who steals from the rich, gives to the poor, and dies an outlaw in the forest - “lawless, frank, and free”.

P.S. I got fired up because I HAVE OPINIONS about Robin Hood, sorry for the rant and thanks for the question. :) @tuulikki understands me, right?

Tag Your Top 5 OTPs

I was tagged by favourite person and all-around delightful soul @lady-yomi 😄. I am actually not much of a shipper (or at least not an otp-er? I support a tonne of ships but there are only a few exceptions that I’d consider OTPs) so I didn’t quite get to 5, but nevertheless!

Tohru x Kyo - Fruits Basket
My all-time favourite anime/manga, and my first ever otp.

Silver x Kotone/Lyra - Pokemon Heart Gold/Soul Silver
I don’t know what it is about these two, but they make me go all mushy inside like a bread-ready banana.

Franky x Nico Robin - One Piece
Big tough shipwright who’s actually a giant teddy bear and soft-spoken classy femme fatale, the mama and papa of the ship. A+ (slightly more) mature-age ship🖒.

You x the happiness and support you deserve - Tumblr

I don’t usually make these post-con reports but I just wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone who made my first visit to @sakura-con an amazing one!!!

I had my initial concerns going in since this was my first time tabling alone and at an unfamiliar location, but after the weekend concluded, Sakura-Con 2017 secured itself as one of my favourite cons thus far! The amazing artist and guest interactions was at an all time high, and the absolutely stellar AA staff went above and beyond to support us. Not to mention the venue was probably the nicest I’ve experienced (the chairs weren’t made of shattered plastic and had mother. fucking. armrests!!!)

As you can see^ I also brought home quite the haul thanks to some amazing artists. I’ll tag their tumblrs if anyone sees anything they’d like to own as well!

The amazing Haikyuu!! cast art is from @diamagnet
The Lucina print + small Lucina, Robin and Chrom charms are from @finnichang
The Fight Club Mako (<3) and Ryuko charms are from @whispwill
The larger Lucina + Ephraim charms are from @littlereddo

Special shout-out goes to @tenfiends for having impeccable taste in gaming and carrying probably the only Golden Sun print I’ve ever seen at a con?? The masked Lucina and SotC prints are also his! I don’t frame all my prints anymore but that Isaac is definitely getting one of his own.

As always, I’m also honoured to the all artists who wanted to art trade with me!

Thanks again Sakura-Con. Here’s to hoping I get to return in 2018! It’s back to real life for now. /Conrad

Favourite female INTJ characters? Some of the females in your answer to this from a while ago have been retyped, so...

Yeah, I had to retype them cause they just weren’t INTJs. So the list of females in that type has decreased…a lot. I can’t tell you why in real life and in fiction the percentage is so low for female INTJs. However, I do have an all time favorite female INTJ so far in my typings!

Nico Robin (One Piece)

Why? She is so INTJ! Plus, we see how INTJs have feelings too. They are just more distant and show them differently. They experience feelings but have a very hard time expressing them to others in ways others would understand. That is Robin. She won’t ever be as expressive as Nami or anyone else of the crew, but she feels just as much if not even more deeply.

She shows INTJ focus and determination. She shows they aren’t ones to show off their talents, but be behind-the-scenes. Something people often miss about INTJs, hence so many mistypings of villains and other characters. Robin does not like the limelight and uses not being in the limelight to her advantage.
