Robert Malte Engelsmann aka Kaeghoro, is an emerging visual artist and independent designer based in Berlin. Dynamic line drawing and mixed media painting on paper are the center of his artwork. Figures and characters play the leading role, while the abstraction challenges viewer’s perception: “When i draw, I let the line decide, let the line flow. I call this drawing process ‘flowstate-drawing’.”
pulling out bits of brain through the nose with a slim, sharp hook, dipping
them in ink, and taking their print, then rubbing the resultant image with
carefully splayed fingers and splinters of bone, creating a textured rough
comprised of both body and mind, physical want and need nestled darkly next to
intellectual and spiritual concerns—in fine line and deep inks, this is what
Robert Malte Engelsmann gives.
I would like to thank Kevin Townsend for inviting me to be part of this beautiful collaboration. I have to admit I have dreamed of collaborating with you, and you made that dream come trueee! :D I admire Kevin’s work as well as the wonderful artists in the project:
here you see the whole ‘vicious cycle’ set ( vicious cycle — the chase — end theme ) but with a different approach:
first, like in the previous post yesterday, i was drawing direct to the sound;
but after the music stopped, i didn’t stop — i was drawing till i felt the picture was complete.
