Prison Break: Paul Adelstein returning for Fox revival
EW has learned that Paul Adelstein has joined the cast of Fox’s Prison Break revival,
reprising his role as the former evil Secret Service agent Paul
Kellerman, who played a key role in the conspiracy that landed Lincoln
Burrows (Dominic Purcell) in prison in the first place. As revealed in
season 4, Kellerman went on to be a U.S. Congressman running for
Adelstein is the latest in a crop of original stars returning for the Prison Break
revival. Last week it was officially confirmed that Amaury Nolasco (Sucre), Rockmond Dunbar (C-Note), Sarah Wayne Callies (Sara Tanredi) and Robert Knepper (T-Bag) are also back for the new season. The original producing team of Paul T. Scheuring, Neal Moritz,
Marty Adelstein, and Dawn Olmstead will also executive-produce the
event series, with Scheuring set as showrunner and writer.
Production is set to begin next month in Vancouver on the nine-episode follow-up to the cult 2005 Fox action series. Prison Break is expected to debut sometime in the 2016-2017 season.
