rise of kenji

Many mechanics in Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance are built to accommodate stealth to some degree, rather than the high-energy action that the game focuses on. Stealth is rarely the best or even the most enjoyable method of executing enemies in the game, often requiring much more planning and careful movement than the typical game requires. However, the presence of stealth in the game allows A) a way to approach groups of enemies without alerting them to your position, and thus taking out key targets first, B) provide a tie back to the original Metal Gear series, and C) reinforces the original focus that the main character of Raiden previously held, thus using play to push the regret of the player character over their new abilities.

Polygon interviews Metal Gear Rising director Kenji Saito about a Kill la Kill game
Platinum Games' Saito explains to Polygon how a Kill la Kill game made by him would be, why a Kill la Kill game would work and most importantly how fans can make it happen! Basically, the same things i've been saying since i've started this but it's nice to see Saito thinking the same :)

I heard about this being a possibility last year. I highly support this along with many others. This link will take you to a petition that currently needs to reach 2,500 supporters. It needs just over 700 more to reach it. First we have to let Trigger know a lot of us are interested in a Kill La Kill game made by Platinum Games, which is what this petition is for. Kenji Saito looked very happy about the possibility in the interview so im hopeful that he would be involved. It’s up to us fans to give as much support as possible. So I ask you to sign this petition to help make this a reality for everyone. I believe in everyone one of you.
