Miss Mireille Darc, (15 May 1938 – 28 August 2017)

Miss Darc was a French model, actress, film director, writer and photographer.

She appeared as a lead character in Jean-Luc Godard’s 1967 film Week End.

Miss Darc chose her surname as a reference to Jeanne d’Arc (Joan of Arc), was born in Toulon as Mireille Aigroz.

She also devoted herself to such causes as cancer, the plight of those in prostitution and organ transplants.

Miss Darc is a Chevalier of the Légion d'honneur and Commandeur of the Ordre national du Mérite.

My thoughts go out in a special way to Pascal Desprez, her family, friends and fans.
