hey! just wondering, could you make the effort to make your aesthetics less exclusive to very pale/blond/skinny people? thank you!

the modern olympian series:

Era Aesthetics:

Harry Potter related aesthetics:

Zodiac Aesthetics:

Miscellaneous:

Entire compilation is also incomplete, due to the future as well as drafted aesthetics that are not yet published, including a very long era request list.

As it is, it is not as much as I’d like. But I cannot conjure good quality pictures from thin air the way i envision them, and for them to crop well with the other images. The internet is sorely understocked with relevant poc pictures that are larger than 500px that i could use for specific themes.

but I hope this is enough “effort” for you.

Why don't puerto ricans in new york not know any spanish. Kinda sad

I speak Spanish. So there’s that.

But also, many Nuyoricans are like 2nd and 3rd even 4th generation. Language preservation in another country is pretty difficult after that many generations away from the home country.

And then there’s the fact that many people’s grandparents were punished for speaking Spanish at schools.
Bilingual education for a long time in NYC focused on teaching folks English rather than teaching how to be fluent in both heritage language and English.

White american men… my dad wont approve of me dating a white american male without knowing his ancestry. My dads not really in my life but theres a list of nationalities i can and cant date. I cant date mexicans or puerto ricans or dominicans but i can date chileans and cubans. But my dad deadass is not in my life we just talk otp

I want everyone here to take a deep breath. Inhale slowly. Exhale slowly. Please remember that we are all here for each other and if you need to talk to anyone, I’m here. Your fellow Tumblr friends are here. Your irl friends are here for you. I know you are all very anxious and scared. I am too. Right now, we need to be there for each other. So please, talk to people. Hug someone or your pet. Don’t panic. Breathe in and out. I’m here for you. Your friends are here for you. We are all here for each other.
