rhidian brook

Movie updates - Alex will be playing Lubert in The Aftermath according to the book’s author:

Cast for The Aftermath by @rhidianbrook: Kiera Knightley (Rachael) Jason Clarke (Lewis) Alexander Skarsgard (Lubert) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt5977276/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_3 [x]

ETA - the author DELETED the above tweet. (But unless he asks me to remove it, it’s staying put.)

Also, on the set of Mute - actor Justin Theroux posted this photo on Instagram…but where’s Alex? Paul Rudd and the writer/director of Mute Duncan Jones are also in the photo taken in Berlin [x]

Duncan (@manmademoon) has been tweeting lots of underwater set pics, but none of Alex…yet.

Thanks to AS & Sophtop for the finds!

The central circumstance in The Aftermath by Rhidian Brook — A British Colonel, his wife, and son, share a house with a German family just one year after the second world war — is based on true events in the author’s own family. British Colonel Walter Brook, Rhidian’s grandfather, was responsible for the reconstruction and rehabilitation of Hamburg after the war, and decided to have his family live with rather than displace the German owners of the house. The images we’ll be sharing over the next few days are ones that Rhidian discovered when researching this moment in his family’s history — a moment that eventually became The Aftermath.

2 Corinthians 3:2-3
You yourselves are our letter of recommendation, written on our hearts, to be known and read by all. And you show that you are a letter from Christ delivered by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.
