#popupyogis Mini Challenge #1: Day 2 (of 7) days of twists - Revolved wide legged standing forward fold

Coming into wide legged standing forward fold, make sure that your toes are pointing towards the front, your feet are slightly wider than hip-width distance. Inhale to lengthen your spine, exhale to melt your torso towards your thighs. 

If it is difficult for you to touch the ground, try to widen your stance a little, use a yoga block, or microbend your knees.

You can either have one hand on the ground and the other straight towards the sky, or grab your opposite ankle and come into a half bind with your other hand, just like what I’m doing in the picture. Shift your gaze up towards the sky to deepen your twist. 

I personally really love this pose - such a nice twist for my spine! Remember to do this on both sides so you stretch out your sides equally! <:
