Thank you everyone for all the love! You have no idea how much I love to hear your thoughts on everything! Keep them coming!
“I wanted her to sit next to her,” Jiyong pouts from the other side of
the large desk. Kris had pulled me on to his lap right when he sat down,
denying me any chance of sitting with my new friend on the other side, not that
I minded; I kind of enjoy his jealousy.
“Mr. Kwon,” Kris snaps taking the older man’s eyes away from me, “Please
tell me what you needed to tell me. I
would like to have time to focus all of my attention on my baby before my next
phone call.” His arms around my waist tighten, his thumbs lazily draw circles
on my stomach.
“I was giving her plenty of attention out there,” My new friend smirks
“Ya!” I glare at him, “None of that remember?”
He sighs and holds up his hands in surrender, “I’m sorry Beautiful, I saw
the opportunity and had to take it.”
“No more Oppa or we can’t be friends.”
“I’m sorry, I’m sorry, please don’t be mad.”
“What the hell happened out there? Why are you being so friendly with
each other?” Kris grabs me by the chin to get me to focus on him.
I shrug, “We talked.”
“Kris, I really don’t appreciate the constant interruptions,” Jiyong glares.
“I’m just worried about my baby.”
“I see that,” He glares at Kris’s hands on my body. “You must be too busy
with that to discuss the future of your group.” He moves to stand but Kris
“Hyung, I’ll stop, please tell me what you came to say.”
Jiyong smirks, “First, I want Joo-ya over here,” He pats the seat next to
“Oppa, stop being mean.”
“But Joo-ya, I want to help you out of your cage.”
I shake my head, “I like my cage.”
“Oppa, if you are going to be like this I will leave.”
He sighs, “Fine, I’ll talk about this boring stuff. Just don’t leave.”
Looking back to Kris his playfulness disappears, “I learned from an unnamed
source that some information was being leaked from someone who was play
gangster with our groups. When my source revealed the name of our little bug I
quickly found him and captured him. After looking threw his computers I found
out nothing about what he knows or where the information he got is being held.”
“What do you need from us?” Kris says back, giving off the same cold
professional vibe as Jiyong.
“My brothers and I tried to get the information from him but since that
is not something we are very good at, my hyung has a bad habit of going too far
and loosing everything all together. So, since getting information is your
families specialty, especially that chubby faced hyung of yours, we were
thinking of just giving this snitch over to you.”
“This isn’t a conversation I want to have in front of Jooyoung,” Kris
“She is already here. She knows. Might as well continue.”
I add in, “I already know most of this from the first night I stayed with
“See,” He beams at me, “She’s a brave little girl.”
“Why are you helping them?” I ask him, something that surprised all of
“What do you mean?” Jiyong looks a little proud that I’m daring to
question him, Kris just looks horrified that I may have offended my new friend.
“You said earlier that you two are the biggest groups in Asia, that means
you’re competition. Why would you help them?
I mean, even if you weren’t able to get the information out of this man
yourself, there must be people you can hire for that, right?” I look to Kris
for an answer.
“Baby,” Kris warns, “You shouldn’t think about this stuff.”
The other just continues to beam at me, “She’s so smart.”
“Stop looking at her like that.”
“She’s just so amazing.”
“Why would befriend someone like this?” Kris asks me gesturing to the
suddenly glaring man.
I smile at my new friend, “He reminds me of Jihyo.”
Kris grimaces as Jiyong stares at me confused, asking, “Is that a
“A very nice one,” Kris answers honestly, pinching the bridge of his nose
in frustration, “You should feel very honored.”
“Where is my baby?” Tao yells as he busts threw the doors. I
automatically jump out of Kris’s grip to run into the tan man’s arms.
“Taotao!” I yell back gleefully jumping into the tall man’s arms.
“I’m so sorry I was so mean to you this morning,” He kisses the top of my
“It’s okay, did you guys get everything figured out?” I question, giving
him a once over before going to check the others who are coming in behind him.
“We’re okay baby, thank you for checking,” Kai says giving me a peck on
the lips when he sees the man approaching our group. “Mr. Kwon, what are you
doing here?” I’m quickly passed around to greet everyone, getting more personal greetings than normal with lots
“I came to have a talk with your brother, now I’ll be on my way out,”
Jiyong gives them a polite smile.
“That was all you had to say? You came all the way here to say that?” I
pause for a second in Chanyeol’s hug to look back at him.
Jiyong nods, “Well that and to see you again.”
“I thought we were going to talk more?”
He smiles, “You seem to be busy now, we will talk again soon. I’ll be
coming by a lot more to talk with your oppas about that snitch.”
“I’ll be going back to school next we so I won’t be around.”
“Don’t you worry your pretty little head, I’ll make sure our friendship
doesn’t end here,” He comes over to us, Chanyeol’s grip tightens around me when
Jiyong pats my head. “I’ll be taking my leave, so all of you can relax. But one
last request, I’d like Joo-ya to walk me out.”
All ten men glare at him but Kris answers, “Over our dead bodies.”
I can see the temptation in his eyes to give back some gangster like threat
in return but when our eyes lock his mouth closes as he reconsiders his words,
not wanting to get on my bad side. How ironic.
“Fine, how about to the elevator?” This time he doesn’t wait for a
response, instead he just grabs my hand and pulls me toward the elevator. When
my oppas do nothing to stop him I just follow along, letting my mind wander
about what all of these things could mean. We stop at the elevator doors, he
presses the button before turning back to look at my oppas who had began taking
a few steps forward, “You stay.” The boys freeze in the doorway, “Good guard
I bow slightly to him, “Sorry about them being so over protective.”
He chuckles ruffling my hair affectionately, “It’s cute.”
“They usually aren’t that physically affectionate in front of others.”
“No worries, they are just marking their territory. Speaking of which you
haven’t been claimed, have you?” He scans me.
“Claimed?” I cock my head at him.
“Those dumb boys,” He sighs before pulling off one of his rings and
grabbing my hand. “This ring will keep you safe from anyone who would dare try
to mess with you.” I let him slide the ring on to my ring finger, I stare at
the beautiful dragon ring. It is a golden dragon wrapped around my finger with
a small black gem in it’s mouth; I can’t help but find it strangely adorable.
“Does this mean you’re claiming me?”
He hesitates answering for a minute, “Yes and no. You can take it off
whenever you want but when you do wear it, people will think you belong to me.
I like it on you though,” there’s that smirk again.
“It will make my oppas mad.”
“Tell them, I give them permission to claim you as well. But keep the
fact that I’m allowing you to take the ring off, it’ll make things more fun.”
“Allowing me?” I raise a brow at him as I play with the ring.
“It’s something I’m used to saying, sorry.”
“You seem as strict as them.”
He chuckles, “I’m probably worse, I wouldn’t let any man touch you.” He
grabs my hand again; staring at the ring he smiles softly.
“Why do they let you touch me?”
Just than, the elevator dings, “I’ll explain it to you next time.”
“When will next time be?” My curiosity gets the better of me.
He steps into the elevator still holding my hand so it won’t close,
“Dinner next week? Tuesday?”
“My oppas won’t like that.”
“I’ll deal with that,” He smirks before kissing the ring on my hand and
stepping back into the elevator, letting it close. “I’ll see you soon
“Goodbye Oppa.” Turning around I see my daddies all there staring at me
like I had an arm growing out of my forehead. “Is this how my oppas felt the
first time they saw us interacting?”
“I’m guessing so,” Suho comes to me, giving me a complete once over. “He
didn’t hurt you right?”
“Oh goodness, daddy,” I smile at the worried man, “You are so cute when
you are worried.”
“Baby, we are being serious,” Kris says.
Lay nods in agreement, “He is a very dangerous man.”
I scoff, “You’re kidding right? Don’t you guys dare start giving me a
speech about how he is so dangerous, that I should be worried about the
situation I’m getting myself into. You guys need to realize that I’m already
drowning in a situation I don’t fully understand with you guys. I have nothing
to gain or loose from talking to Jiyong oppa. I’m living with twelve men who I
call daddy. I risk the chance of pissing one of you off and getting myself
raped or murdered everyday.” They all share a similar look of guilt and anger,
glancing from one another, another silent conversation.
“He claimed you,” Chanyeol deadpans, glaring down at the ring on my
I sigh staring down at it, “He said it’s okay for you guys to claim me
too, whatever that means.”
“What if he likes her too much and takes her away?” Sehun worries, coming
over and hugging me tightly.
Kris shakes his head, “From what I saw of them interacting, he cares
about how she feels about him. So unless our baby wants to leave he won’t take
her.” They all look to me.
“Baby,” Chen calls, “Are you happy with us?”
I sigh but nod without hesitation. Whether or not I’d care to admit it I
love their craziness and possessiveness, though sometimes it can be too much.
“What about what Mr. Kwon said earlier, about you being in a cage?” Kris
“I’m a pretty bird in a cage, at least that what he said. I told him I’m
happy to have such an amazing view from my cage,” I look at each of them,
earning me a hug from an excited Baekhyun.
“What did you talk about before he got in?” Tao wonders.
“He wants to have dinner on Tuesday.”
“Hell no!” The room rallies.
“That’s what I said, but he seems to think he can change your mind.”
Suho groans, “This just got a lot more difficult. We should get her back
to the house before something else happens.”
“Did someone tell the hyungs about this?” Sehun asks nervously.
Everyone in the room shakes their head, “I’m not going to tell Xiumin
that our baby was claimed by the black dragon.” Kris shudders.
“Black dragon? Is that his street name or something?’ I ask. Sehun nods
making me wonder, “What’s your guys’?”
“Suddenly with all the questions. What do we tell you?” Baekhyun taps on
“Only big kids need to know.” I pout, “Jiyong oppa would tell me.”
Chen sighs, “Baby, if we answered every question you asked, you would be
running away faster than you would have ever thought possible.”
“Is it really that bad?”
“We have done some bad things baby, we will do more, some worse. We want
to keep you from such a dark world alright?”
“I’m braver than you think.”
“You are a little girl,” Suho snaps, “you say you are brave, you say you
are strong, you say you are a big girl, until all the bad things you said you
could handle become too real for you. And suddenly you are curled up in a ball
crying when we come towards you, calling us monsters. We don’t want to tell you
because we don’t want you to be afraid of us. So please baby, stop with the questions,
we want one innocent little thing to not run screaming when we come near. Can
you give us that?”
I nod, suddenly feeling guilty for letting for letting my curious show
too much when I know better.
“Now lets go home, we have a new problem to deal with.”
“What about Xiumin hyung?” Kris glances at the closed door.
Chen gives him a smug smirk, “You can explain that.”
“We just couldn’t tell him for a while,” Chanyeol suggests earning a
smack on the back of the head from Baekhyun.
“Don’t you think he will notice the massive ring on her finger?” Baekhyun
glares at the younger’s stupidity.
“I can’t believe he gave her his favorite one,” Kyungsoo takes my hand
and stares at the ring.
“He kissed it too,” Suho adds. Open my mouth to ask something but snap it
close when I remember my scolding a moment ago. But Suho noticed, “What is it
“I don’t know what questions are okay.”
“Why does it matter that he kissed it?”
Kyungsoo answers, “It’s a show of interest and a promise of loyalty.”
“Take it off right now!” Xiumin oppa demands the moment he see the ring
on my finger at dinner. The boys have somehow managed to keep their hyung
distracted enough for him not to notice it, but after forcing his way into the
spot next to me he sees in on my left hand as I eat.
“Daddy, it’s fine,” I continue to eat as the older man glares at everyone
else at the table.
“It’s fine? Did anyone tell her who that bastard is?”
I sigh slamming my metal chopsticks on the table, I stand up, my chair sliding
out, earning me every eye in the room. “Daddy Xiumin, I said it’s fine, I had
to deal with them the whole way home telling me about how dangerous he is and
how worried they are for my safety. None of them told me who he was, he told me
himself. I know that he is the leader of a mafia, but so are you. If you want
me to question why my alarms didn’t go off with him when I know just from
looking at him that they should have, I will have to do the same to all of you.
If you all would like the think back to two weeks ago when we met; I was curled
up in a ball drunk off my ass in the back alleyway of your club after you guys
started a shoot out. Let’s not forget that you killed an innocent man in front
of me, after that I got in a car with you. Talking to Jiyong oppa in your lobby
is definitely not one the most questionable things I’ve done this month. So
please can we leave that alone?” I plop back down in my seat and begin stuffing
“That ring is going in the trash,” Xiumin doesn’t take his eyes off me.
Without looking up I say, “Then you are going to explain to him where it
went.” I’m genially surprised when they don’t scold me or get mad they just
continue to stare.
“Where is our little girl?” Luhan pouts from my other side.
“She is taking a break, but I wish she would come back,” I groan rubbing
my temples, for one wishing that side of me would come out. It’s hard to deal
with this shit when I’m big, I don’t have the patience for it.
“Is there anything we can do to help?” He wonders.
“Just let me go take a bath,” I stand up but Suho gives me a questioning
look and before he can get the words out I groan, “Daddy Chen, lets go please.”
He seems to be the only one not pouting about my small side being gone for the
moment. The man nods before taking my hand and leading me out of the room where
the other men start talking in hushed voices. He takes me to his room, right
into the bathroom that had showered in days before hand in. I sit waiting on
the edge of the tub while he fills it up, he grabs me a bath bomb that
entertains me when he leaves to grab me some new clothes and towels.
He’s back just in time to turn the water off, the water is swirls of
blues, black, and purples, creating my own little galaxy. I let him undress me
and climb into the water, enjoying the sweet smell and how smooth it makes my
skin feel. Chen sits on the edge of the large tub just watching me with a small
“What?” I ask when he just continues to stare.
He chuckles, “I’m just thinking about how the others talk about how you
are so different from when you are your little self. I think you are the same
just with a little more kick.”
“You guys don’t like me when I’m big do you?” I stare down at the water.
“Speaking for myself, I love you both ways.” I peek up to find him leaning
a little closer with a small smile, “You are my baby, no matter how big you
are. As for everyone else, they are just worried that if are big you won’t
think you need us and you’ll leave. Not to mention how hot it is when you are
so cute and needy for our attention.”
“So you guys don’t hate me when I’m like this?”
“If I’m being completely honest, it’s really hot when you are your badass
self. But it makes it hard for us to control ourselves when you are being so
tough,” His eyes scan my naked body, that is hidden under the dark water,
coming back up to find my lips. I smirk, leaning forward and catching his lips
in a kiss. Mindlessly he leans forward, I grab his tie and pull him closer into
the water, causing a some of it to splash out.
“Oops,” I squeak when he lands in between my legs.
“Oops won’t cover it baby. You got daddy’s nice suit all wet,” He teases.
“I can’t do much more than help you take it off,” I flirt, catching both
of us off guard.
“This is what I mean, this big side to you has such a mouth.” I grin when
he leans back in for a kiss, sheading his jacket and vest quickly. Next to go
is his tie, followed by his button up leaving him in only his dress pants. We
break the kiss, our chests heaving; I bite my lip as I take in his perfect
chest and abs. “My eyes are up here baby.”
‘Peaky Blinders’ Adds ‘Game Of Thrones’ Aidan Gillen; Charlotte Riley Returns As May
With Season 4 of BBC Two period gangster epic Peaky Blinders having begun shooting last week in Liverpool comes news of further casting for the next installment of the Shelby clan’s saga. Game Of Thrones‘ Aidan Gillen has joined Steven Knight’s award-winning drama along with Happy Valley and The Last Kingdom actress Charlie Murphy.
In what’s sure to be the subject of much speculation among series fans, Charlotte Riley is also set to return as May Carleton, the champion horse trainer and former lover of Cillian Murphy’s Tommy Shelby. Riley last appeared in Season 2 which cliffhanged
in part on who Tommy would choose as a bride. That was quickly resolved
in the first episode of Season 3 when the conflicted gangster married
Grace Burgess (Annabelle Wallis), who shortly went on to meet her demise
from a bullet meant for her husband.
There’s no word yet on Gillen or Charlie Murphy’s roles, nor
confirmation at this point of what Riley’s return means. The casting
news follows last week’s Deadline exclusive that Adrien Brody is a also new addition to Season 4.
Knight says, “We have a dream team gathered for series four of Peaky Blinders,
coming to us for love of the series which is great. Adrien Brody, Aidan
Gillen and Charlie Murphy give us a wealth of talent to work with. And
with Tom Hardy and Charlotte Riley returning, we couldn’t have hoped for
No one caught on to the elephant in the room of the cyclic emotional and physical abuse Guzma suffered in an almost daily basis. By this point, Guzma was constantly getting picked on and getting into fist fights with classmates. Everyone knew that Guzma failed the trial captain auditions. Guzma was bullied relentlessly by his classmates.
Home life wasn’t any better. Guzma’s mother, though nurturing, had “no idea” how her husband “disciplined” his son. The abuse occurred when she was outside of the house. She would pass it off as “that’s how my husband disciplines his son” and enable the behavior by denying it happened at all.
By this point, Guzma started to experiment with alcohol and drugs. He had no friends at school and no stable family unit. Alcohol and drugs (weed mainly) helped get Guzma’s mind off his worsening depression, anxiety, thoughts of suicide, and problems controlling anger. While high, it was the only time his paranoias and fears would go away: his emotions didn’t control him, he controlled them.
One day, at 15, Guzma was in his room, hanging out with Wimpy. Guzma had skipped school (again) and didn’t expect his father to return home early. Guzma’s father beat him relentlessly. Guzma’s father could not hold back in calling his son “worthless”, “a piece of shit” “no son of mine” . This angered Guzma to a point that he never reached before.. All guzma could think about was running away. He contemplated leaving many times before, but this was it. Guzma gathered up a couple of things and stuffed them into his backpack. It was just to be him and wimpy. As Guzma was walking out the house, Guzma’s father took one last swing at him with his golf club. Before it could hit Guzma, wimpy jumped out of Guzma’s backpack and evolved into an enormous golisopod. Wimpy was tired of the abuse his trainer suffered at the hands of his father. It was time for Wimpy to fight back. Out of fear of the 6"0 bug in the living room, Guzma’s father dropped the golf club before he could swing at Guzma. Guzma picked up the club and began to beat his father “black and blue”. It was pay back for all the years of abuse.
Guzma and his Goliospod left with nothing but a few dollars. Guzma needed food, needed to find shelter, and feed his Pokémon. Without having a place to go, Guzma took residence on the streets of Hau'oli city. It was his first breath of freedom in his life.
Days were spent looking for odd jobs and work to make some money to feed himself and wimpy. While looking for work, two men in sleek attire approached Guzma and told him that they have a job opportunity on ula ula island to work for them. Without hesitation, Guzma was sold and immediately went with them to ula ula. Upon arrival in Malie city, Guzma was taken into an abandoned warehouse. There were about 10 other kids about his age at the site. What Guzma quickly realized was that he was recruited into a gang. This was initiation.
Despite some negative vibes about the ordeal, Guzma sucked it up and whet along with what the admins ordered. They did promise him that he could be very rich after all. Plus, bitter and angry at his loss of a trial captain position, Guzma liked the gangs mentality and mission to get rid of the island challenge completely. It wasn’t that bad of a new gig, right?
To prove his worth, Guzma along with several other new recruits were given a mission in po town. Due to previous criminal activity in the town, police activity was unusually high. This didn’t phase Guzma though. Guzma could do anything. The mission leader gave Guzma a gun. What could go wrong?
Everything was going according to plan, but then…. *blue lights flash* the cops showed up after someone reported “suspicious activity”. Well one new recruit (not Guzma) literally jumped the gun and shot at (and missed) a police car. More troops came in and a shoot out between cops and gangsters began. Guzma panicked and Fearing for his life, Guzma ran and hid in a back alley way. While fleeing, Guzma dropped his gun, he had no way to defend himself now.
Guzma hid and was pretty sure he was going to be caught and killed. All he could think about was who would take care of wimpy and the gang if he was killed. But then, he heared something move. Guzma shouted at it to show itself and appeared was a pink haired girl with the most mesmerizing yellow eyes he’s ever seen. “Who are you?” Guzma asked in fear. The girl whispered “shhh! They’ll hear you. I’m on the same team as you, my name is plumeria”. Guzma sighed with relief. The two hid out in the alley for a while until things seemingly settled down. As they were walking home, they were stopped by a cop who took them back to the police station for questioning. To avoid jail time, Guzma thought fast… his story was this girl… (plumeria was that her name?) were on a date and got caught in the middle of a shootout. Somehow the police believed Guzma’s story and let them go. On the long walk home back to Malie city, Guzma got to know this new girl better: her name was plumeria, they were the same age, and like him, she ran away from home. Guzma was instantly drawn to her: she laughed at all his jokes and didn’t wince once at his bug Pokémon. In fact, wimpy (who is very weary of people) even took a liking to her.
Months after the shoot out incident, weird things began to happen on the island of ula ula. The rumor had it was the island’s deity, tapu bulu, was pissed that a super market was built upon sacred land. But it was only a rumor, right? At about this time as these weird occurrences took place, disputes and disagreements took place between higher ranking gang members. After months of this, the gang decided to disband (to this day, no lower level grunts such as Guzma and plumeria involved know the real reason). Not wanting to return home and loving his newfound gangster life, Guzma decided to carry on the mission of the now disbanded group. The group, Guzma’s new group, was to be called team skull. Guzma decided that he would take in people around his age and younger who like himself, came from toxic home environments or were outcasts to society. Not wanting to leave his new girl friend behind, Guzma told plumeria his idea for his new group, and asked her to be admin of the group. Plumeria, not having anywhere to return to, took up Guzma’s proposition in a heartbeat. The rest is history..
Hypothetical plot outline for the pilot episode of “Marvel’s Ghost Rider”
So just for fun, since I want Marvel to greenlight a Robbie Reyes/Ghost Rider TV show, I thought I would outline my version of the show’s pilot episode.
(god, I would really love to work for Marvel’s writing department)
Before we get started, here is the main cast for season one:
1) Gabriel Luna as Robbie Reyes / Ghost Rider
2) Lorenzo James Henrie as Gabe Reyes
3) Jose Zuniga as Eli Morrow (returns only through visions, hallucinations, and voiceovers. You’ll see what I mean)
4) Chloe Bennet as Daisy Johnson / Quake. The in-story reason for her leaving “AOS” is that she was disgusted by SHIELD’s actions at the end of season 5 and quit the organization.
5) Genesis Rodriguez as Lisa Ortega, a law school student and Robbie’s main love interest. She joins Robbie’s team as the brains and strategist of the group.
And yes, in true cable TV drama fashion, there is a Robbie-Lisa-Daisy love triangle.
6) Sophie Wu as Ruby Zhang / All-New Ghost Rider. She was a PhD student who was killed in an accidental shooting at her college. Like Robbie, she heard a voice that asked her if she wanted revenge on her killers, which she accepts.
Although in this case, it isn’t the Devil who turns her into Ghost Rider, it’s Eli Morrow’s ghost. Yeah, Ruby is meant to be a closer adaptation to 616!Robbie Reyes.
7) Ron Perlman as Johnny Blaze / The Phantom Rider, Robbie Reyes and Ruby Zhang’s mentor. He acts as the father figure of the two Ghost Riders.
The episode begins with Robbie Reyes returning to Earth after taking the Darkhold to Hell. Several gangsters attempt to rob an elderly couple but are stopped when Robbie drives through a portal in the middle of the street. He kills all but one of the gangsters, deeming the survivor as “innocent” since he was bullied into helping the muggers.
*insert opening credits, which are the words “MARVEL’S GHOST RIDER” showing up in burning letters*
We then cut to two weeks later.
Gabe, who was staying at one of his friend’s place during Robbie’s absence, is happy to see that his brother is back, even though he’s a bit pissed that it took him so long to return. Robbie gets his job back as a mechanic and at nights, he roams the streets as Ghost Rider.
Meanwhile, we’re introduced to Ruby Zhang. She is giving a speech to several college students, a speech that is visited by Daisy Johnson. Daisy has been laying low since she left SHIELD on bad terms.
After the speech finishes, Daisy confronts Ruby and tells her that she’s friends with Fitz and Simmons and that they’re alive but laying low after SHIELD went underground (again). It’s revealed that Ruby was friends with Fitz and Simmons during their Academy years and was worried that they were dead after the HYDRA uprising. Ruby thanks Daisy for telling her that and the two part ways.
Going back to Robbie, he is working on a car when he is visited by a mysterious man riding a Harley. The man introduces himself as Johnny Blaze. Robbie remembers him as a famous daredevil from the 1990s / early 2000s who went missing at some point. When Robbie asks what Johnny is doing in his shop, Johnny simply says he’s visiting L.A. for business.
That night, we cut to law school student Lisa Ortega, who is walking home from work. She is jumped by two muggers who try to rob her but are thwarted by Robbie Reyes in his Ghost Rider form. Robbie is about to ride off when all of a sudden…WHAM!
Robbie is blindsided by a mysterious force who knocks him out cold. The force (which will later be revealed as the Ghost Rider villain Blackheart by the way) is about to kill Robbie when all of a sudden, Johnny Blaze shows up and chases him off. Lisa, left alone, tends to Robbie’s wounds. Before she can call for an ambulance, Robbie wakes up and walks away like nothing happened.
Robbie attempts to leave but Lisa shouts, “Wait, I know you! You’re Robbie Reyes, Gabe’s brother.” We then learn that Lisa’s niece is Gabe’s tutor and that Lisa has seen Robbie once or twice at his car shop. Not sure how to respond, Robbie offers to drive Lisa home. Lisa then promises to keep Robbie’s superhero identity a secret as thanks for saving her life.
*insert heart eyes from Robbie*
Robbie returns to his car shop and finds Daisy Johnson there, chatting with Gabe. The two hug and Daisy tells him all about what went down with SHIELD. Daisy says she wants to stick with the Reyes brothers for a while since she’s a bit aimless at the moment.
Robbie doesn’t mind and lets her crash on the couch. Daisy then says that a weird old man has been watching the shop since she arrived. Robbie, pissed off by this, goes to investigate and he encounters Johnny Blaze, still watching his every move. Robbie asks what his deal is and Johnny reveals that he’s the one who passed the Ghost Rider spirit to him.
In the morning, Daisy, Robbie, and Gabe get a lecture about the Ghost Rider mythology. We pretty much learn everything we need to know (Zarathos, the deal with the devil, etc.). Johnny says that he’s in L.A. to watch over Robbie since he feels guilty about putting the burden of the Ghost Rider on him. Robbie says it’s fine and that he’s up to the task. Johnny then says he’ll stay as his mentor since he wishes that he had someone guiding him when he was the Ghost Rider.
Robbie then asks if he could still transform and Johhny says that he could. There’s more than one Spirit of Vengeance and more than one way of turning into a Ghost Rider (keep that in mind). Johnny says the demon inside of him is different from the demon inside Robbie, which will play an important role in the next few episodes.
Lisa shows up at the car shop unexpectedly and is confronted by Daisy. Lisa says she knows that Robbie is the Ghost Rider and that she needs his help. Robbie asks what the problem is and Lisa reveals that her niece, Gabe’s tutor, has been kidnapped and is being held hostage. Robbie heads out to rescue the girl but before he leaves, Johnny tells him that there’s more to the Ghost Rider than just killing people.
Johnny: “Not everything about the Rider is death and suffering. You’ll know what I mean.”
So the climax of the episode is Robbie and Daisy confronting the kidnappers. Turns out, the kidnappers were working with the same kidnappers who tried to mug Lisa Ortega (this is a plot point for the rest of the season). We get some cool tag team fighting scenes as Daisy and Robbie dispatch most of them.
The last kidnapper, however, gets special treatment. Robbie, remembering Johnny’s words, learns a new power; the PENANCE STARE. He uses the stare on the kidnapper, immobilizing him but keeping him alive.
Back at the car shop, Johnny tells Robbie that he’s proud he learned the Penance Stare and that he’ll help him curve some of the Rider’s more “evil” tendencies”. Daisy and Lisa spark a friendship and Gabe coins the term ‘TEAM RIDER’ to describe the group.
Then, we cut back to Ruby Zhang. Ruby is headed home from class when, all of a sudden, she is gunned down by a member of the kidnapper gang. The gangster mistook her for Lisa Ortega and, horrified by what he did, runs off.
Suddenly, Ruby is brought back to life after hearing a voice that asked her if she wanted vengeance. As a parallel to Robbie’s resurrection, when Ruby gets a good look at who brought her back, it’s not the Ghost Rider.
It’s Eli Morrow! Eli binds himself to Ruby’s soul, turning her into the All-New Ghost Rider. So throughout the rest of the season, Ruby struggles to keep Eli under control while Eli pops up every now and then as a vision that only she could see.
As for the stinger that’ll lead into next week’s episode, we see Blackheart turning into his human form. Blackheart swears vengeance on the Riders before walking off into the night.
Let’s say you have a storyline, but don’t know how to develop it into a full length book, or comic, or screenplay. If so, don’t worry. After five steps, you’ll have a well-developed story in hands. So, stay with me.
STEP 1: Choose the type
Before starting writing/drawing/filming, it’s really important that you define what type of story you are about to tell. Here are some examples:
- Abusive relationship leading to tragedy (Wuthering Heights, Sakura Gari)
- Revenge for a greater good (V for Vendetta, The Crow)
- Family in times of war (The House of the Spirits, Star Wars)
- Becoming famous (Burlesque, Skip Beat)
- Forgiveness (Prayers for Bobby, The Princess’ Man)
- Good person turning bad (Black Swan, Tokyo Ghouls)
Define your story with the least amount of words possible. Make it general.
STEP 2: Tie the ends
After defining a type, it’s time to connect beginning to ending. If they are connected, the story becomes a circle. This circle is what you are aiming for and here is why: storytelling is a form of teaching. And teaching
must make sense. For example, the Hunger Games teaches us that the weak
can overpower the strong (because the main characters take down the oppressive government). Battle Royale teaches us that the weak will
never overcome the strong
(because the main characters don’t get even close to taking down the oppressive government). So, why do we see more artistic value in
Battle Royale than we see in Hunger Games? Because the teaching of
Battle Royale is realistic. It’s what we see everyday in the news and
history books. It’s about having no control over your own government. It’s about having no real importance in an election. Battle Royale speaks closer to home.
This circle is what makes an average story brilliant.
Based on your type of story, what do you wanna teach? What is the truest thing you can teach?
As a person that never had a great relationship, If I were to write a starcrossed lovers type of story, maybe I would teach people that love scars you for life. That is the truest thing for me right now. This phrase “love scars you for life” already hints me how to end my story. Instead of killing my starcrossed lovers, maybe I could force them to live apart, forever wondering what if (Roman Holiday, Casablanca, Blue is the Warmest Color).
What do you wanna teach? Make it as personal as possible and prove your own point. Define the ending.
STEP 3: Create basic scenes
You already have a type of story and it’s ending. Now, create scenes that are essential for the narrative to go from point A (beginning) to point B (ending). Without these scenes, you wouldn’t have a story to tell. For example, The Crow. The Crow is the story or Eric Draven, a rockstar, that is killed with his girlfriend by a group of gangsters. He comes back to avenge their death. Eric kills the gang members and returns to his girlfriend’s side in the afterlife.
Which scenes are essential for The Crow to happen?
- Eric and his girlfriend (Shelly Webster) die in tragic ways.
- Eric returns from death
- Eric prepares himself for revenge
- Eric encounters the gangsters and kills them one by one
- Eric kills the leader of the gang
- Shelly guides Eric back to death
If you take away any of these scenes, the story will look strange or incomplete. Take away the tragic death, and the revenge makes no sense. Take away the preparation time, and the story will look rushed. Take away Shelly guiding him back to death, and the journey will look like it was all for nothing.
Write down five to eight scenes that MUST happen.
STEP 4: Fill the gaps
Each basic scene will leave you with blank spaces to complete. For example, Eric and Shelly die in tragic ways, but how were they before death? How was life before that? Did they live together? Or shared great memories? Did they indeed loved each other?
Were they happy?
And how their deaths will change the world? How friends will react? What will happen to their house and belongings after they are gone?
You see, each basic scene requires other less essential scenes, but not less important. Filling these gaps is what make a plot consistent.
In The Crow, all questions I mentioned are answered. Eric and Shelly were about to get married, they lived in a rooftop apartment with a cat. They had a local kid as friend (this kid is left devastated). Most of their things had been sold, including Shelly’s engagement ring (that Eric retrieves amid killing gangsters).
Make as many questions for each basic scene as possible, and answer them all. Secondary scenes will be shown to you like magic. They will make total
sense, not just random plots
thrown there to make the narrative exciting, but important information about the journey.
Choose your favorite secondary scenes and place them among basic ones.
STEP 5: Details and symbolism
Once you’ve finished choosing the scenes, it’s time to add color and shading to your project. And by that I mean details and symbolism. Think of locations, clothing, way of speaking, culture, background… the whole aesthetic. Detail is what makes a story immersive.
There are many “aesthetic packs” you can choose from, for example, steampunk, cyberpunk, neo-noir, urban, wuxia, retro, victorian, dieselpunk, biopunk, utopic, eroded, bohemian, mystical, gothic, but you can create your own atmosphere as well.
Not at all necessary, but a great complement for most stories. In Naruto realm, Naruto and his friend/rival Sasuke represents yin-yang. Naruto is the sun. Sasuke is the moon. When there are too far apart, the world around them goes into chaos. When they are close, there’s peace.
Being sun and moon, they also represent the light and the darkness, with Naruto promoting peace, and Sasuke promoting chaos.
Another highly symbolic story is Life is Strange, in which Chloe represents a butterfly and Max represents a doe. These animals appear every time something important is about to happen.
Tokyo Ghouls is also full of symbolism, associating characters with tarot cards (like Juuzou representing the Death card), and important scenes with flowers (like red spider lily representing Kaneki’s torture and birth as a ghoul).
If it fits the context, associate your characters and/or scenes to nature, ideas or cultural aspects.
So, putting it simple, we have:
Step 1: Choose a type of story
Step 2: Define the ending based on your point of view
Step 3: List basic scenes that can’t be eliminated
Step 4: Create secondary scenes related to the basic ones
Step 5: Add an aesthetic to your world and apply symbolism if needed.
I really hope it will help you somehow. Any questions, just message me. :D
Critics are quick to label David Lynch’s Mulholland Drive (2001) as a neo-noir (a fitting homage to the noir style that also modernizes its concepts). Classifying Mulholland Drive as such is an oversimplification, however, because it minimizes the importance of the broader, conceptual messages that Lynch was attempting to incorporate into his narrative. Mulholland Drive is, in essence, a cautionary tale about the power of projection and the psyche. The way we daydream and imagine a bright future for ourselves can heavily affect how we lead our lives. How we imagine ourselves in this “ideal future” factors into the decisions we make for ourselves. This film is a commentary on how such idealistic dreams can be broken and how we sometimes must escape from reality to cope with the concrete nature of the world around us.
As this film’s 15th anniversary quickly approaches, I thought it might be fun to analyze the film by segmenting the different aspects into letters of the alphabet, with each section dedicated to a different argument about a specific aspect of the film. These sections orbit around the theme just discussed; that while David Lynch’s Mulholland Drive may possess easily identifiably noir conventions, upon closer interrogation the codes of the noir fall at the wayside in favor of a deeper message about the psychological nature of movies and acting and how an internalized fantasy can manifest itself in psychological torture and mental betrayal.
Could yours find me some fics where Xiuchen, Xingdae, or Chenyeol are the main pairing and it's kind of a badass au. You know like gang, mafia, CEO, or something dark. And could it preferably be a bottom Chen?

Levihan 1920’s gangster AU
Levi is second-in-command of the infamous Ackerman gang. Hanji is a
journalist determined to unearth the sordid truths of the city’s most
powerful men. In return for timely tips that help the Ackermans stay
ahead of the law, Levi gives Hanji information straight from the city’s
criminal underbelly. Between them, they have too many enemies to count.
Their relationship complicates things.
I originally wrote this for the levihan au week a while back. I’m posting it again without the terrible art I included last time lmao
Five hours until publication and she still didn’t have her
story straight. Hanji glared down at the offending articles. With her
glasses sliding down her nose, her fingers stained black with ink, and
the words beneath her beginning to meld into one massive blur, she was
forced to admit she may have once again gone too long without sleep.
The conference table below her was a mess of discarded newspaper
drafts. She drummed her fingertips over mottled wood as she skimmed the
latest edit. She read through it twice before sighing and dropping the
article in favor of the telegram that awaited her attention.
It was from Moblit. Stationed in the heart of the city, he
was privy to the latest information on the election for the office of
Mayor. It was a race growing more heated by the day. Between Billy “The
Boss” O’Malley, who was backed by the notoriously violent Lower East
and Ricky Jemson, favorite of gangster Kenny Ackerman and his posse, it
shaping up to be the city’s most volatile election in years.
Pressing the telegram flat, Hanji leaned over it, scouring
the short message for the information she needed. She read through it
once, then twice, before straightening with a sigh. Nothing.
Her story was on the upcoming
election; specifically, on Billy “The Boss” and his immoral – not to mention,
illegal – exploits. Mr. O’Malley’s crimes ranged from blackmail and bribery to
For the past month she’d been working to gather concrete
evidence of Billy’s illicit dealings. But as of yet, all she’d managed was a
handful of shady, second-hand accounts of the tycoon’s alleged misdeeds. It seemed few
were eager to cross a man who had a hand in forty percent of the city’s
businesses and close ties with the Lower East Side Mob.
As much as I loved getting to see Kirishima’s backstory in this fight, the placements of the flashbacks wasn’t done too great and it kind of messed up the tension and suspense of the fight. Though as a whole, it was still pretty dope.
Rappa somehow manages to be kind of a cool guy and the biggest asshole in the room at the same time.
Fatgum is such a fucking pure soul.
So Fatgum has like a double quirk? Not only does his fat bend around people to trap them and act as a strong defense but it also stores the damage that he takes and converts it into offensive power at the expense of his fat/defense?
So Overhaul isn’t the one in charge? Even he’s gotta a boss he’s working for? Could it be the lord that the big guy from Kirishima’s backstory was talking about?
It’s sort of odd how we went from fighting supervillains like All For One and Shigaraki to trying to stop the return of gangsters.
I’m wondering why Toga was chosen to be there? She’s not exactly a master of combat. Is Twice expected to handle all the combat while she takes their blood afterwards? I’m willing to bet that more of the League of Villains is there as well. But then again, the League of Villains is sort of short on members at the moment.
Here’s hoping the ladies outside the building get some focus and get to do some badass stuff as well rather than just getting forgotten.
ASSASSIN BRANCHES AND INDIVIDUALS THROUGHOUT HISTORY: 1920s Manhattan, New York The 1920s was a busy time for the Assassins. Due to Templar prominence in Manhattan, there were always targets and once those targets were removed more came in to replace the old, prompting the Assassin numbers to swell, and a new kind of efficiency to be born. The flappers handled the parties and events, whilst their male counterparts, the gangsters and the mobsters, took care of events in the central city, the dirty, backstreet deaths and entering into board meetings and stock brokers on Wall Street, where they could blend in and be unnoticed. Talk business, make agreements, work their way up to trust and then take a kill. Or, if the target required it, cause a ruckus and make a name for themselves as not to be crossed. In the public eye, after all – even now in retrospect – gangsters are fairly notorious. Naturally, guns were their favoured weapon of choice and they hardly motioned ceremonial weapons at all. There was no need for the elegance the flappers possessed. Essentially, both groups went where they were most useful, celebrating true practicality – with no nonsense about differing genders and what roles they should or should not have had, just getting stuff done. Sometimes they worked together, but largely, the sisterhood and the brotherhood stood together and worked apart, sharing information and resources but rarely coming into contact with one another. When they did come into contact, it was for big operations and heists, where numbers were necessary. In these cases, it was typical for the Assassins to plan their ops to a point – and that point would be getting to a rooftop or some other high place. Being the 20th century, haystacks were gradually turning into something nonexistent and infrequent and most likely not stationary, so the Assassins turned their attentions to cars. Cars were multifunctional; they could provide the getaway as well as the landing, the flappers and gangsters alike soaring from impossible heights onto soft top roofs and padded, enforced interiors after making their descent. The Manhattan Assassins were experts in this art, so much so that as time passed, they became more daring, taking running jumps from higher buildings into cars that were still moving. They never missed.
“What’s going on?” Luhan’s voice came in the background. “What are those voices?”
Jungkook sighed, getting up off me. He didn’t even bother to help me to stand on my feet, and he yelled back to Luhan. “We just have a small problem here, don’t worry Hyung.”
I stood up, brushing the dust out of my clothes when Luhan came into the site and gasped, seeing the books over the ground around me and Jungkook. It looked about more than 100 books. And I gasped too – Actually panicked.
“I’m so sorry, really. I should have been more careful. I need a book and it was so high and–” my words were rushed out of my mouth so fast.
“–I’m so sorry. I–”
“It’s all right.” Luhan’s voice raised, then a sigh followed. It made me shut with my mouth and look down at the ground, I didn’t want to face him.
“Really it’s okay.” He said, his voice lowered and became softer.
I looked up cautiously, he was smiling and I felt guiltier. Is he trying to be nice? This makes me feel bad

Everyone’s favourite webseries about chromatically themed teenagers fighting monsters and gangsters and Weiss is about to return for its second outing of twelve episodes, and as such we the community are all high on the hippest drug the kids are taking these days that goes by the name of “hype”.
We’ve all also probably rewatched Volume One a half-hundred times, and certainly have our favourite moments, characters, weapons, ships et cetera. While simultaneously offering a bit of a retrospective on it all, I thought I’d put together a list of high points in the form of awards! With as much credibility and worth as an Emmy these days (I mean c'mon Emmy guys, did Tatiana Maslany kick your puppies or what?! I do appreciate the Fargo love, tho), but still, why not.
