Thank you for the prompt! I did something cute with them before they are a couple. Enjoy!
The cantina’s band was much louder than a normal night and Despina would have complained if she wasn’t already buzzed from the whiskey in her hands. It was her favorite: A Tevraki whiskey over ice. She was finishing her second drink by the time Jonas had arrived.
He slide onto the stool beside her and without a flick of his wrist, ordered a new round. Despina turned her bright green eyes on him, the sight of his crooked smile making her stomach flutter in excitement.
“It seems you decided to start the fun without me.” As the bartender set their drinks down, Jonas raised an eyebrow at the glass in front of Despina. “What number would this be?”
“Three.” She said without shame. “Besides, you were taking your sweet time getting here.”
Jonas sighed dramatically before leaning his side against the counter. “What can I say, Captain? I lead an exciting life.”
Despina would have rolled her eyes if she wasn’t worried that the movement would knock her off of the stool. Instead, she laughed and took a sip of her newest drink. Then she met Jonas’ vibrant sapphire eyes. “Just tell me that it isn’t too exciting. Don’t want to get a message from Theron saying you did something stupid without me to back you up.”
“Aw, Captain. You do care for me.” Jonas teased, knowing how much she loved their flirtatious banter. It came so easily to the two of them whenever they were together. However, neither wanted to look deeper into it. Not now, at least.
Despina smirked. Then she blew a kiss in his direction. “Don’t tell anyone. It’ll ruin my reputation.”
Idols will gain weight
Idols will get acne
Idols will get angry
Idols will cry
Idols will get sick
Idols will make mistakes
Idols will sometimes say stupid things
Idols can have depression or anxiety
Idols can have eating disorders
Idols have feelings
Idols can find love
Idols can get hurt
Idols aren’t perfect angels
They aren’t gods or goddesses
They aren’t elements of perfection that are there to be objectified
They aren’t there to be worshipped
They aren’t pure and innocent
They are all just extremely hard working human beings who are just trying to make a living. Always keep this in mind.
By reblogging this post, it means that you have promised yourself that you will NEVER call an idol “daddy” on their SNS or to their face, because you have understood why it is wrong, and why it should not be done. Either keep these thoughts and other kinks in your head or away from the eyes of the person you are referring to. Let’s all try to be a little bit more mature about this. It’s more serious than we all think it is.
Please Like/Reblog this if you post any of the following so I can check out your blog! I revamped and now my dash it terribly empty. Right now I’m following hella bts blogs but I want to expand my timeline.
I genuinely miss the times when kpop wasn’t all a competition. Now it’s all just about who gets the most views on YouTube, who breaks all the record and trying to prove that your fave is the best by bringing down other groups. There’s no enjoying the music anymore. It’s kinda sad.
↖️This blog support idols, singers, rappers, musicians, producers, models, actors, actresses and celebrities the way they naturally are, no matter their gender.
And when I say natural I DO REALLY MEAN IT: we support them bare faced, with every curve (or or lack of it), freckles, moles, zits, acne, scars, cellulite, stretchmarks, with their respective body type, weight and height, the color of their skin, eyes and hair, the shape of their noses, etc.
It’s okay to fangirl/fanboy/fan-non-binary/simply-be-a-fan, but please remember to support their health (mind and body), security and privacy first. Everyone suffers with aesthetic oppression, imagine people with a public name.
Every idol group deserve the attention they’re getting. Do they work hard? Then they deserve it. The rest is luck, company name maybe, intelligent media play, BUT THEY DO DESERVE IT. Twice, GFriend and Mamamoo deserve the attention just as much as DIA, Lovelyz and BerryGood. EXO, BTS and Seventeen deserve the attention just as much as 24K, Boys Republic and Romeo. Stop putting groups that work their asses off against each other.
I find it disturbing how Kpop groups go though years of training and preparation, spend months at a time without their families, miss out on sleeping to improve themselves, only to be criticized or torn down by either their own fans or others because they don’t fit into their category of perfection.
Being a fan doesn’t mean you’re entitled to say whatever you want so stop putting so much pressure on Kpop groups, stop tearing down those who aren’t your favourite and please if you don’t have anything respectful to say then don’t say it
and every other group who has been working their asses off. Each and every one of them is deserving of recognition, and I don’t want to see another group disbanding next year, so please get out of your comfort zone and give these groups a try. You might be very surprised with what you discover.
Something that needs to be said, and something that I had to learn myself, is that the views on a music video put out by a group does not determine whether or not that group is underrated. For example, if we went based off of views, NU’EST wouldn’t be considered underrated because their MV “Face” has 56,862,227 views. Sales and wins is what determines how popular a group is.
It is why people still talk about Monsta X being underrated despite that they have 26,652,516 views on their MV for “Hero.” A group can have a really popular music video/song and still be underrated.
