For those who are unfamiliar with the Aila Test, it basically deconstructs how Indigenous women are written and portrayed in the media. The test is based off Aila, the main protagonist from r/hymes f/or y.oung g.houls. There is the blog that actually analyzes and tests different media that feature Indigenous women. I’m happy to say that Roxy definitely passes the Aila Test, given that she is Asian-Indigenous from her mother’s side. Here is the test and why Roxy passes it:
1. Is she a main character? YES.
2. Does this character fall in love with a white man? NO. She doesn’t have a love interest currently, but in canon she will not fall in love with a white man 😎
3. Does this character end up raped or murdered at any point during the film? NEVER / NEVER
I can feel no pain, In the ice or in the sun it’s all the same.
More ghost Anna, this time comforting a mourning Elsa. A follow up to thesetwo. I felt that, when around Elsa, Anna would revert into her child form, similar to how she was in a wedding dress with Hans. In death Anna would try to comfort Elsa even more, because she’s no longer hindered the dangers of her magic.
