[ I’m genuinely shocked. Mun just found out she got a 2:1 classification in my English and Creative Writing degree. How? What?? I’m so happy and BEYOND RELIEVED T_T ]

everyonelovesagoodstory replied to your postsince we know how things end for uma in d2 (which…

I didn’t think the end was bad either. I thought that the way Uma spelled Ben was a reference back to Ursula in “The Little Mermaid” and showed the similarities between her and what Mal was like in the first movie. Also Uma and the other pirates not turning completely good did shock me too but then I realized it made sense. I think having Uma at the end start to question what she really wants and not have everyone turn good leaves all them open for more development.

i haven’t read the junior novel in its entirety, i just read snippets of the epilogue

but like, uma being evil in the end, her last line especially, is really not all that different from how the first film ended. that gave a tease of mal not being entirely good yet, so this is doing the same. it just shows that there’s more story to tell (and/or that disney channel wants to keep this franchise going for as long as possible). it is a little bit of a copout to have her remain evil, but having her go good in a two-hour film might be uncharacteristic too.

and yeah, perhaps there is more development in store for all of the remaining vks. no one can really turn good that quickly, so there’s more room for these characters to develop and change. perhaps the third film, if we get one, can focus on simply offering these kids kindness to make them “good” instead of fighting them in order to hope they turn “good”.

Top 5 KD staring moments?🐻🐧

There’s seriously a lot of moments where kaisoo are staring at each other, but I’m gonna try and pick my top 5 xD

1) He looked behind every one else just to watch Soo.

2) Nini even tilted his head here, like he found Soo so adorable T___T No one else was paying Soo much attention.

3) Just staring and staring, I don’t even think Soo was speaking(?).

4) That man on the right is very smitten with that smol man on the left

5) Even tho this was from a very bad day, it’s still a fave of mine. His eyes never stopped searching for Soo ;;;;

I like Mary. I think she's awesome. I don't see why she has to be evil.

Oh, boy, okay.

Listen you can like Mary all you want – I loved her too before the fucked up her entire story arc – but her entire arc was building up to be a villain, and a badass one that was going to go down with a fight.

I’m REALLY not trying to be pedantic here, Nonny, but asks like this force me to pull out receipts, all of which I’m sure you’re not going to read, because who likes to be proved wrong, but I digress. I always end up sounding more harsh than I am when all I want to do is educate you on my perspective and what the narrative is teaching us.

THAT’S Why she’s a villain. When a character kills the title character of a show, they are coded as the bad guy unless they do a redemption arc that actually is a redemption.

Mary had NO redemption arc AT ALL. Even in S4, Mary is STILL manipulating and emotionally abusing Sherlock and John against each other with her fucking creepy-assed DVDs and her belittling of John in T6T. She still runs off to go do her little assassin things and still lied and manipulated everyone. And I know the argument is going to come up, but Mary’s gunshot was NOT a redemption. A redemption arc has the ex-villain doing a good deed and being genuinely sorry for their past actions. Not ONCE Mary has ever apologized for any of the shit she put everyone through. All of it was a plan, especially if she had creepy DVDs made FAIRLY RECENTLY (you can tell because of the hair style) to send out to people. Also:

That and Mary’s entire death scene was RIDICULOUS and completely contradicted EVERY rule that was established in this universe only 2 episodes prior on how characters die.

Nonny, Mary’s character arc is one I have been passionate about for many years, even before I was a Johnlocker, because her character was fascinating to me, and helped me understand the psychology and make sense of events that were happening in my life at the time. Right up until TAB, Mary was being coded as the next Moriarty. For some reason or another, Mofftiss decided to turn her into an “assassin with an heart of gold” and failed spectacularly.

If Mary truly was good, she WOULD HAVE TOLD JOHN FROM THE BEGINNING WHO SHE WAS, OR AT LEAST TOLD SHERLOCK SHE NEEDED HELP. HLV would have not played out as it did. Instead deciding that killing Sherlock was her only option so that she could continue to manipulate John, since she knew he was most malleable when he was grieving Sherlock.

You can read Mary’s character however you want, I could care less… well okay apparently I do because of this reply… But please, seriously consider that what became of her character really made no goddamned sense to the narrative arc the built for her and quite frankly really lazy writing. Just because she is a woman, doesn’t mean that she is nice and sweet and not abusive. Excusing her of her brand of emotional abuse and manipulation is really sexist.

People thought my mother was a nice person, too.

Beautiful? Me?! Aw shucks anon, you are too kind X3

While I completely agree that the MC in the game is almost too perfect at times, I feel like all you really needed to do for Jumin is to take his opinions and thoughts seriously and not write him off as a “typical rich corporate heir.”

And so, with manic glee induced from staying up too late for a few nights in a row, I present to you a sharp, sassy, tsundere, and crass MC who somehow manages to charm our resident cat mom ;)

WARNING: This MC is a potty mouth :P

-Admin Bloo

  • Personally, Jumin Han couldn’t understand what all the excitement was about around their new member.
  • Sure they could possibly hold a party again after a long time, but she wasn’t THAT great.
  • From what he had gathered from previous chatrooms, she was loud, crass and boisterous. And sweared way too much for her own good.
  • Hmm, since he put it that way, he could see why she got along with Luciel and Zen so much.
  • When he voices these opinions, he was immediately accused of being salty about her reaction towards his cat.
  • It is true that he was offended when he had graced the chatroom with a beautiful picture of Elizabeth III and the only thing she could say was “whatever” before changing the subject.
  • Frankly, he could care less about the lack of enthusiasm from her side. He was still going to send more of the pictures.
  • But that still didn’t erase the fact that she was the rudest and the most nonsensical woman he had ever met. It was as if she had grown up with no sense of dignity and grace.
  • She would nag him for every little expense he made; every time he gave extra work to Jaehee; and for basically every thing he did.
  • He felt so attacked. It was like she had joined the RFA to pick out every little thing he did wrong. And he already believed himself to be very efficient.
  • So why was it that he found himself amused at all the unique… names and threats MC spat out for every time Zen attempted to woo her?
  • And how could he have stayed up til 3 am simply having a “discussion” heated debate about investments and stocks when he had an early morning meeting the very next day?
  • Turns out she had a very good head on her shoulders and work as a very successful and shrewd financial advisor/planner.
  • He had to give her a little bit of respect after that night.
  • One night he had logged into that chatroom after a particularly stressful dinner, and upon finding Assistant Kang already there, started discussing various marketing schemes for a new line of cat clothing.
  • It was his luck that Zen and MC were on too; Zen had already started his tirade against prioritizing Elizabeth III over his overworked assistant. Jumin was already anticipating MC’s verbal abuse as well…
  • But strangely enough, MC had simply told Zen to shut up. and Jaehee to half-ass her work when it comes to anything related to cats, but that was besides the point.
  • Everyone in the chatroom was stunned. MC was seriously passing on roasting Jumin for the day?
  • When Zen asked why, the irritation in her reply was almost palpable.
  • “He is clearly too stressed to plan anything serious. Don’t you think that there might be a reason why he’s so fucking obsessed with his cat? I seriously don’t care to know, but if this is the only way he can relax, then LET HIM FUCKING RELAX!!”
  • Jumin felt his heart pound and forgot to breathe for a second.
  • How did she know?
  • MC logged out of the chatroom after that.
  • Jumin logged out as well, and before he knew it, he dailled her number.
  • Only problem was… he didn’t know what to say??
  • There was silence on the line for almost a minute until she responded with a soft “what?”
  • The softness of her voice cause his mouth to run dry, and he asked just as softly. “Are you okay?”
  • After a long sigh, she replied “Yes, I am. Are you?”
  • Her curtness snapped him back to normal. “Yes, but I would like to inform you that your little speech was a complete waste of energy on your part-”
  • “Listen here you son of a-”
  • “But thank you for that.”
  • That shut her up.
  • “It was just as you had said. I had a terrible meeting today and had been tense because of it.”
  • MC remained silent, and Jumin was almost about to hang up when she started talking quietly again.
  • “There is no need to explain. We all have bad days, and I was just pointing out what others were too blind to see.” But then he could hear the laughter growing in her voice. “But maybe, if you had said that at the chatroom in the first place instead of rambling about ANOTHER goddamned cat project that could potentially sink your business, then people would take you more seriously.”
  • Jumin had to chuckle at her gall. “Of course MC. I will keep that in mind. Good night.”
  • After dropping the call, he stared at the phone for a long time.
  • The new member was… truly one of a kind.
  • Thoughts of her and how different she was compared to ANY woman he had every met plagued his mind for the rest of his night.

To be continued…

Omg what do you think the whole storybook opening meant? Did armin write that book and he's reading it to like his fam?!?!?! (Cuz armin and the narrator are the same) I'm shook

I think that’s the most popular theory! We hear Armin’s voice along with it, because as you said, he is the narrator in the anime. For a long time people has theorized that Armin will survive and tell the story. And on top of that, a few months ago we got this scene on Chapter 88!:

Armin is seen taking notes inside Eren’s cell, writing down Eren’s memories. And on that single scene, we see this at least four times. I believe this might be intentional, to attract our attention to the fact that Armin is writing it all. Probably a hint about something we will only understand later. Maybe these notes will end up being part of Armin’s book?

I hate that uninspired feeling, I'm sorry. If you feel this tho I've always wanted to see Damen give Laurent a piggyback ride.

Here´s the thing….because I´m not a native speaker sometimes you guys come at me with very colloquial stuff and I´m like “wtf???” (I mean, lbr, I kinda knew what you were refering to but “piggyback ride” could also be a very obscure porn term as far as I knew. And this is CP we are talking about so it was totally possible.) So…I googled it and this is literally the first picture that comes up.

So naturally, I had to….

So was there no eremika kiss then?

We’re gonna have to wait for the last episode to see that. Episode 11 included both chapters 48 and 49, and ended right when Dina/Smiling Titan showed up, so Hannes was still alive and Eren wasn’t going through a mental breakdown just yet. It ended exactly on this scene, last page of chapter 49:

I don’t know about getting an EreMika kiss, to be completely honest. I do, however, want for the EreMika scene in chapter 50 to be as emotional and beautiful as WIT could make it be. A kiss isn’t needed to show just how strong that moment was for both Eren and Mikasa. Just look at this:

“I’ll wrap you up in it again… Again and again forever.”

Is that not the most beautiful line ever? To me, that line means much more than a kiss. My 2013 self is dying to see this animated next week.
