Louis seems to be wearing a version of the Relton hoodie that’s not available online in red with the white / black lettering color scheme. You can instead find the flipped lettering version on Vans’ site. He was also spotted by fans in the black version of the hoodie (note the sleeves).
@harlemslim I’ve had the pleasure of knowing this brother since 1986. One of the most Talented and Genuine people I have met in all my days. Family. Take a moment and dig his profile on PFflyers.com #TheOriginalHarlemSlim #pfflyers #blues #genuinearticle #RelTone
This is a picture of Los Bastardos Magnificos opening Muddy Roots festival on Friday afternoon. Next to me singing a verse on the last song is the inimitable Brownbird Rudy Relic. We had a very nice time.
Los Bastardos Magnificos have been out of Miami since August 27th. We played the Junkyard at Deleon Springs, FL, the Loft in Augusta, GA, and the Milestone in Charlotte, NC. Then we drove to Asheville, NC and busked. Then we drove to Cookeville, TN and camped out at the Muddy Roots festival. We were there for 3 days and saw some cool acts and played the open mic tent on day 3. We hung out in the woods outside of Nashville all day yesterday at some rad tent in the woods that was being used as a radio/recording studio. Today we’re recording in Nashville and then playing shows all the way back down to Miami. We’ll be home on September 9th. Aside from sleeping only in Wal-Mart parking lots and not showering since we stayed at the Nailbiter house last Thursday, this shit has been really cool. It’s been fun to be playing music on the road with good friends and an honor to share a van with the extremely talented Brownbird Rudy Relic. See you all soon. I already have plenty of stories and I’m sure I’ll have plenty more.
