Your best friend and you strolled at the park. It was a funny day, perfect to relax. You both were pretty busy in the last week and barely saw each other, which was very unusual for you. So you walked, hand in hand, and complained about your life.
Suddenly you heard the penetrating voice of a moderator, which blasted through a microphone.
“Hello ladies and gentleman and welcome to our exciting talent show. We want you, yes you. everyone can come onstage and show us his talent. The winner will get the appreciation of the audience and a cash prize of 500$.”
“Oh my god. Who knows how many idiots will show their “talent”. Let’s go and watch this.” your friend said. You arrived at the small stage in the center of the meadow. Many people already already placed thereselfs on the soft grass and watched the show. It was a releaxed mood and you and your friend also sat down. The first contetestant made his way onstage and started to sing with a shaky voice. Time passed by and you and your friend started to feel bored.
“Y/f/n, I’m bored. I thought there would be someone funny or outstanding, but no.”
“Uhmm-””And this was the last contestant, now I ask YOU guys, who wants to come onstage and try his best? You have nothing to lose!”
“WE WANT!” Your friend literally jumped up.
“Are you crazy? I wont make myself an idiot in front of strangers!”
“Ohh, come on y/n. Don’t you remember our karaoke-evening? We rocked it.”
“Thats not-””…..so come upstage and show us your talent!”
Your friend didn’t listened to you and made her way straight to the stage while dragging you behind her. She shortly talked with the DJ, who gave the both of you microphones. You both walked over to the moderator, who awaited you with a bright smile.”
“Come on, don’t be shy! So…here we have some beautiful and young ladies, let’s see what they’re going to present us.”
He walked off stage and the intro started to play.
“Relax and just look at my. Let’s rock!”your friend whispered.
*Okay Y/N! Relex! There’s just you and Y/F/N. No audience. You can do it* you tried to calm yourself.
Yo B They ready? Let’s go!
Your voice wasn’t as strong as usual, but than you saw your friend.
She seemed more than confident. And her moves made some man whistle. Suddenly, all nervousy was washed away. And now you started.

The music stopped and it was quiet for one second before the audience started to freak out. You earned plaudit and whistle’s from them. You looked at your friend and she laughed at you.
“It wasn’t thaaat bad, wasn’t it?” she laughed.
“Shut up” was your answer.
“Well, well, well. I’m glad we were able to hear that. And you know why? You were A.W.E.S.O.M.E. I think Im not wrong when I say that we have the winner’s of our small competition. What do you guys think?”. The moderator came back and holded his microphone towards the audience, which clapped and screamed again.
He handed you the money and you made your way down the stage. You still couldn’t belive it. The people slowly started to disappear, but some still looked at you, glances full of admiration.
“Okay babe, I don’t now what you wanno do, but im going to talk with this hot guy over there.” your friend smirked. You just laughed while she made her way to the tall guy.
“You were pretty good…..for an amateur.” a husky voice spoke behind you.
“Excuse me?!”you replied while turning around, just to face a handsome boy with a pale and soft-looking skin and a pretty face, surrounded by black hair.
“And you are who to judge about my, admittedly amateurish, rapping skills?”
“Min Yoongi, but my friends call me Suga. But I need to say that you have talent.”, he explained while his lips turned into a smirk.
“Did i understood it right that the genious Min Yoongi wants to teach the small Y/L/N Y/N how to improve her rapping?”
“Interpret it the way you want and as I said, call me Suga.”
“I can’t remember that we’re friends!?”
“I think we will.”
Obviously the 500$ we’re the smaller part of the prize you won today.
Now Im curious :s did it hurt or was it hard to keep your eye open for the surgery? My eyesight is terrible and the only thing that hinders me from a surgery is the thought of pain and being awake while its done qq
The tl;dr is that it’s not hard to keep your eye open (they actually make it physically impossible for you to close it), and that it didn’t hurt at all – at most I’d say it was mildly uncomfortable, no more than anything you’d experience in the process of putting in or taking out soft contact lenses :)
Putting details/walk through of what each part felt like behind a readmore cut, because it’s a bit long sdfgdfsg. I figured it might help to hear about how it felt in each step.
Despite the number of friends you’d had who had all gone
through a pregnancy, and despite the combined five pregnancies your sisters had
gone through, none had prepared you for your own pregnancy. Nothing in a
million years would ever prepare you for the intense morning sickness you’d
suffered through, nor the intense hormonal changes your poor husband had to
endure. Despite the number of pregnancy bellies you’d touched and marveled at,
you hadn’t been prepared to watch your own grow over the past five months, nor
were expecting the pure frustration that came with the increasing number of
stretch marks that graced themselves on your hips and belly.
Perhaps the number one thing that you had been most
unprepared for though was the day that you first felt a kick. It had been a
pretty quiet afternoon, Jimin thankfully having time off from his schedule for
the next few days. All this had meant was ten times more cuddling and a lot
more marathoning of your favorite television shows. “Did you remember the
snacks?” you called from your cozy spot on the couch, legs propped up the
coffee table, hands cradling your five-month belly.
“What kind of man do you take me for? Of course I remembered
them,” he said flashing a wink at you as he entered the room, arms loaded to
the brim with both yours and his favorite snacks. Clapping your hands and
giving a whop of excitement you scooted over a little and made room for him to
cuddle in next to you, his lips coming down to give your stomach a quick kiss
before handing you your first snack choice.
Three episodes later and multiple snacks consumed, you and
Jimin had fallen into an extremely relexed state, you having shifted so that
you laying across the full expanse of the couch, head propped up with your
favorite pillow while Jimin settled in between your legs, elbow propping his
head up while he his other hand run over your exposed stomach, his lips
continuously peppering kisses all over it. “Hello
little one. We can’t wait to meet you,” you heard him say, making you smile
at the pure love he was already giving his unborn child. “I hope that you’re
nice and cozy in there, and enjoying all the snacks we got you tonight,” he
said flashing you a grin that made you laugh.
“I bet you’re gonna be just as beautiful as your mother, and
that you’ll always keep us on the tips of our toes. And I hope that you’ll let
me teach you to dance, and show you all of favorite songs.”
At one point of Jimin’s little conversation you’d let your
eyes slowly shut, a content sigh leaving your lips at how amazing it felt for
his hand to slowly run over your stomach, his lips still kissing every now and
then, the sound of his voice lulling you off into a land of pure bliss. Nobody
had ever prepared you for the way your love for your husband would tenfold. How
women could go through a pregnancy without having this level of support was
beyond you because some days you still felt like you were doing everything
wrong, even with Jimin right there beside you.
It was just as the thought rolled across your thoughts when
you felt it, eyes immediately snapping open, Jimin’s hand immediately pausing.
“I think so?”
As if your child had heard you guys, they responded with yet
another kick, Jimin’s eyes tripling in size as he looked at you. “Oh gosh, I
felt it! I felt a kick!” he yelled, your hand laying on your stomach as well as
a few more kicks followed, both of you sitting in utter amazement, unable to
say anything as you just marveled over the event that was happing. “Holy crap…I’ve
felt babies kick before but this is…this is so much more amazing than I’d ever
expected,” you said to him, a small tear trailing out the side of your eye and
down your temple. Jimin smiled back to you as well, nodding his head in
agreement as he placed a kiss on your stomach again before pulling his body up
and kissing you.
Nothing ever prepared you for the immense impatience that
suddenly washed over you, these single kicks, and simple movements making you
more and more anxious to finally have this baby…to experience parenthood to its
full extent, Jimin right next to you for all of it.
