Night of the red moon ((closed rp))

Merida sighed staring out her window at the red moon in the distance. Everywhere was on high alert, the blood moon spelled trouble. Be it werewolves, dragons, demons or vampires. No one was foolish to put off preventative measures in protecting themselves. All except a certain princess who’s curiosity far out weighed the risks. The red moon was high in the sky and after discarding all of the charms to ward off such evil through one of the small tunnels her brothers frequented, she was ready to meet whatever came. The red head unlatched her window and pulled it open. Making sure to have a dagger strapped behind her back just in case.

The still warm embers in her fireplace glittered with dazzling hues of orange, red and black. So entranced by the fires dance the princess had very little clue as to the dangers lurking just outside her window, or of the being she would soon come face to fangs with.

Fun in the rain//open rp

Merida ran through an open field, it was dry and crisp. Dark clouds chased her where ever she went. Thick drops of heavy rain began to pelt the dried up field, giving it the water it so desperately needed. “Much better, now where else could use some water?” She mumbled in thought. While her back was turned and her thoughts were preoccupied the gentle rain behind her began to spiral out of control. Winds began to swirl the already this sheets of rain drops. The cloud itself began to coil as if being drained into a funnel.

Lightning and thunder crashed and lit the sky demanding attention from its master. After enough commotion was made Merida turned around and huffed. “If yeh wanted to play so bad why didn’t yeh say so?” She scolded softly. At her words the funnel of swirling winds scooped her up into the cloud. Flinging her just about everywhere like a rag doll. Not that she minded being thrown around, the brittle grass from below began to break and tangle in her hair.

Well that’s just great, yet another evening she’d spend plucking who knows what out of her hair. The storm must have rose too high, as the thick water droplets began to crystallize. Droplets became balls of thick ice. Beating the ground below with their newfound strength. After a while the cloud seemed to calm down. It set Merida back down in the center of the war torn field. “Hmmm I guess I could plant some wild flowers in all these holes…” She pondered out loud, wind cheerfully agreeing with her choice with a gentle breeze.

Overheated //open rp

Merida groaned, fanning herself with her hand. One of the curses that came with being the guardian of summer is the constant intense heat. Today just so happened to be one of those days. Her body temperature was twice her normal heat. Red hair wetted down with her sweat, god it was miserable. She had already put on her light weight dress but it still wasn’t enough. The worst thing was, the heat was beginning to make her dizzy and disoriented.

Combined with the sweating, Merida was becoming dehydrated fast. If she didn’t cool off soon, things weren’t looking good. This had happened a few times before but never this severe. The thing that scared her the most was that there was absolutely no one around to help if things got worse.

She stumbles to her feet and took a few wobbly steps. Her world began spinning and shifting around, sending her reeling. Before she could take another step her weakened legs collapsed out from under her. Things were getting blurry and hazy. In a last ditch effort, Merida tried to claw her way to what sort of looked like a tree, hoping it might bear some shade. When the cool shade was just an arms length away her body finally gave up and she fell unconscious.
