The allure of emotion

What is more attractive than a man who can show his feelings freely? We recall Eddie Redmayne’s haunting rendition of “Empty Chairs at Empty Tables” and his portrayal of Marius for this Man Crush Monday, as rumors swirl that he may take the role of Fagin in the remake of the movie musical of Oliver.

Dating Qwerty HC! He deserves some love

Yes, he certainly does. ☠️🖤

-Qwerty is the sweetest boyfriend, it’s endless bliss with him. He’s a bit soft spoken, but he has no problem opening up to his love.
-He feels he can tell her anything, just one of the many perks he adores about her.
-He always put her first, and tells her not to worry about him.
-He always brings home flowers or other small gifts. He doesn’t make much, but any extra money he has is always used to make her happy.
-He loves cuddling, and could sit holding her for hours at a time. Especially when she’s sad, he’s there as her shoulder to cry on.
-He’s funny in his own quirky way.
-He’s never judgmental about anything, and supports her in everything she chooses to do.
-He’s a big romantic.
-And while he’s more reserved, he also has a very spontaneous side that only comes out around her.
-He’s also protective, even if he isn’t the strongest person, he would always fight for her if need be.
-Always holds her hand no matter where they are. On a walk, at the store, in the theatre, on the sofa. It doesn’t matter, he just loves the contact.
-He likes giving kisses, whether on the forehead or cheek. And they are always sweet and gentle.
-He’s much like a dog in regards to seeing her. Every time she’s home from work he’s already at the door hugging her an welcoming her home.
-He helps her relax after a long day.
-Qwerty isn’t too forward, but when it comes to the bedroom he’s not shy in showing how he feels. He’ll worship every part of her, and take his time because he’s so fond of their love making.
-He’s a very generous lover, and listens well on what she finds pleasurable.

God, Qwerty. The precious mortician lol
Eddie Redmayne in line to play Fagin in new film of musical Oliver!
EDDIE REDMAYNE was left cringing on The GRAHAM NORTON Show when recounting how he was once only workhouse boy No43 in a production of Oliver!. But I can reveal the Oscar winner could have the last …

This could be a passion project, another childhood favorite, challenging role for him, interesting prospect, but the news isn’t official, so we’ll see what happens.

Is there an address where to send pictures for Eddie to sign? I recall seeing it once, and I realise there is not much hope I will ever meet him. I would also like to send him a note with it.

You can write him at his London agency, United Agents, LLP; Lexington House, 12-26 Lexington St, Soho, London W1F 0LE, UK. Currently, it appears he is not signing, but the agency is sending out a very nice headshot with a pre-printed autograph. Expect to wait a while, too, according to fans. He’s just too popular!

Marius Monday Inspiration

“He fell to the seat, she by his side. There were no more words. The stars were beginning to shine. How was it that the birds sing, that the snow melts, that the rose opens, that May blooms, that the dawns whitens behind the black trees on the shivering summit of the hills?

One kiss, and that was all.

Both trembled, and they looked at each other in the darkness with brilliant eyes.

They felt neither the cool night, nor the cold stone, nor the damp ground, nor the wet grass; they looked at each other, and their hearts were full of thought. They had clasped hands, without knowing it.

She did not ask him; did not even think where and how he had managed to get into the garden. It seemed so natural to her that he should be there.

From time to time Marius’ knee touched Cosette’s. A touch that thrilled.
At times, Cosette faltered out a word. Her soul trembled on her lips like a drop of dew on a flower.

Gradually, they began to talk. Overflow succeeded to silence, which is fullness. The night was serene and glorious above their heads. These two beings, pure as spirits, told each other everything, their dreams, their frenzies, their ecstasies, their chimeras, their despondencies, how they had adored each other from afar, how they had longed for each other, their despair when they had ceased to see each other. They had confided to each other in an intimacy of the ideal, which already, nothing could have increased, all that was most hidden and most mysterious in themselves. They told each other, with a candid faith in their illusions, all that love, youth and the remnant of childhood that was theirs, brought to mind. These two hearts poured themselves out to each other, so that at the end of an hour, it was the young man who had the young girl’s soul and the young girl who had the soul of the young man. They interpenetrated, they enchanted, they dazzled each other.

When they had finished, when they had told each other everything, she laid her head on his shoulder, and asked him: “What is your name?”

My name is Marius,“ he said. "And yours?”

My name is Cosette.”

Victor Hugo, Les Misérables

What I love so much about this is that before they even know one another’s names they kiss, hold hands, and spill their hearts out to one another… it may seem a bit silly and youthful however, I honestly adore that!

There are no mind games. There is no “chase.”

Although Marius basically stalks Cosette at first. ;)

This type of love knows no boundaries… it’s open and honest. They love each other and are not afraid to admit it. My favorite line is:  They had confided to each other in an intimacy of the ideal, which already, nothing could have increased, all that was most hidden and most mysterious in themselves.
