Granite Rock Outcroppings - Riverside County, CA

Chaparral stretches across various hillsides of Southern California. Within this habitat type, granite rock outcroppings stud the terrain. Within these outcrops, many different species of snakes can be found- often thermoregulating under rocks at the base of larger outcroppings, or within cracks.
