Summary: After EoS, Aelin and Rowan still aren’t and never have been together but they both want to be. One fateful day, they both go to the main square where Males and females await them, and lets just say, jealousy arises.
“Go flirt, that’s why we came isn’t
it?” Lysandra asked with a wink.
“No, we came here to train. Flirting was not
what I signed up for.” Aelin and her friend had decided to go train in the
public square that morning to seek out the best competition. They knew that no
one had a chance against Aelin, but she wanted to see how long one could last
against her. All the same, there were many desirable males in the square and
not one failed to eye Aelin, and she knew too well that they were not checking
out their competition, but a female whom they took a liking to.
Hello my fellow Catholic witches! So while I was looking through stuff to do for May, I came across Mary Gardens and I thought they sounded like something full of potential witchery.
What is a Mary Garden?
A Mary garden is a garden dedicated to Mary. It is full of plants relating to Mary and her son, Jesus. They also contain a statue of Mary and sometimes have benches and candles for prayer. Some people also add plants relating to other saints. Sometimes they are dedicated to a certain aspect of Mary (such as Our Lady of Sorrows). They can be as big as a park or as small as a flower pot.
Plants for a Mary Garden
Relating to Jesus
Grapes- His blood
Wheat- His Body
Hyssop- Used at the Crucifixion
Begonia- Heart of Jesus
Geranium- Heart of Jesus
St. John’s Wort- Jesus’ Blood
Snapdragons- the Child Jesus’ shoes
Passion flowers- Christ’s Passion (the stamens and pistils look like the nails and the crown of thorns)
Red Roses- Christ’s Passion (as the crown of thorns and the five petals are Christ’s five wounds)
Plants with thorns- the crown of thorns
Dogwood- the Crucifixion
Relating to Mary
All flowers are associated with Mary but here are some that have more specific associations.

What does this have to do with witchcraft?
Well, many of these plants are commonly used in witchcraft. They can be used to call upon a certain saint for help (doing a protection spell, use Cosmos- St. Michael’s flower). Or they can be used based on their association (Maidenhair fern for beauty spells because it’s associated with Mary’s hair).
OKAY YES, Mythos AU is short for my Creek Hades/Persephone AU.
People to seem to love it so i’m actually motivated to keep working on this (maybe a fic)
I mostly rant and put my ideas on my twitter so if you would like to check it out AWESOME, but i will put my current summary and character descriptions here as well.
Summary Tweek (persephone) is the god of vegetation, he thrives in the forest with Kenny (Demeter) the god of life and harvest. Kenny watches over Tweek and is very protective, he tells Tweek that he could be hurt if he leaves the forest.
One day Craig (hades) the god of the underworld comes to Tweek’s forest to reap souls of some animals, along the way Craig finds this being reviving all of the plants that he had killed walking through the forest. Tweek doesn’t notice Craig at first and Craig tries to get closer, Tweek spots him and Craig bursts into flames and starts running away. Tweek follows him, Craig not wanting to cause damage in the beautiful ethereal being’s forest conjures up a really powerful portal (stronger than he usually makes) and retreats to the underworld. Tweek goes through said portal and falls into the underworld.
Tweek spies on Craig in the underworld and gets hungry, finds a pomegranate and eats it, binding him to the underworld.
Craig at this point finds Tweek and asks him about how he got here but Tweek just looks at Craig in utter rage and cocoons himself in thick vines and thorns.
Tweek loves Stripe (cerberus) and feeds him, that’s where Craig saw Tweek glow for the first time, this makes Craig burst into flames because this boy makes him feel things.
Tweek slowly falls for Craig because the other is so caring towards Tweek.
Makes him feel comfortable even though it’s the underworld.
Meanwhile Kenny is trying to find Tweek and goes up to Mount Olympus to find Clyde (Zeus) and Bebe (Hera) Kenny finds out that the other two are absolutely in love with him and will pretty much stop at nothing to find away to help him and free Tweek from the underworld but since Tweek ate down there, they really could only do so much. Clyde is able to talk to Craig and make sure Tweek is alright.
Once Tweek’s contract is up he must go to the upper world to tend to his forest but doesn’t want to leave but Craig reassures him they will see each other again soon.
Tweek starts crying and his tears are like starlight sparkling every teardrop sprouts new vegetation even in the underworld.
Tweek picks up one of the sprouts and puts it in a small vial so Craig can wear it around his neck to remember him by. (MORE TO COME)
Tweek: God of Vegetation (Persephone)
An ethereal being with red anemone flowers and thorns growing out of the crown of his head, when he is happy he glows and the flowers grow and flourish at very fast pace with petals falling out of his hair. He has freckles all over which are actually flecks of gold. His eyes are olive and bright but has purplish eye bags due to not sleeping for weeks at a time. Tweek usually has a small white robe on but during his time in the underworld, Craig conjures up a large forest green robe with gold around the collar. (MORE TO COME)
Craig: God of the underworld (Hades)
A dark and tall God, that kills all living things the moment he comes in contact with. He usually has a cool blue flame somewhere on him and a dark fog follows him wherever he goes. A very cold and distant God until….
Craig is wearing a navy blue almost black robe usually with some of armour over top and brings his sword with him when he goes to the upper world. The dark fog that is around him makes other beings very sleepy and can make the fall asleep. Glowing blue eyes when angry. Bursts into cool blue flames when embarrassed or shocked. He is kept company by Striperus, a three headed guinea pig.
Becomes very protective of Tweek, warding off all the unhappy souls from bothering Tweek.
Very chivalrous towards Tweek, once the other gets comfortable will always greet Tweek with a hand kiss. Conjures up gold jewelry and chains to decorate Tweek’s hands and feet. (MORE TO COME)
Kenny: God of the Harvest (Demeter)
Tweek’s protector in the upper world, does want to see Tweek in any harm. So make sure he stays in the forest to make sure no one will ever hurt the other.
Beautiful blonde hair with wheat growing from it.
Also gold flecks of freckles
(MORE TO COME)
Clyde: God of the sky (Zeus)
An idiot with a heart of gold and a lot of love to give
Is one of the only god’s that have a relationship with Craig before Tweek.
Booming voice and thunderous clap of a laugh
Goes to the underworld just to bother Craig.
(MORE TO COME)
Bebe: Goddess of women and marriage (Hera)
Very empathetic goddess, that wants to love and happiness.
Long flowing hair that turns into clouds.
Very flirtatious with everyone and is married to Clyde.
(MORE TO COME)
Craig’s three headed guinea pig also the only thing Tweek likes in the underworld (for now)
-So anyways I think it’d be very interesting if cats decorated themselves for events/ceremonies especially the leaders. In Wolves Of The Beyond the wolf chieftains weaved prey bones into their fur to create a special “song” when they walked, leaders will do this at Gatherings or ceremonies.
-Leaders will weave bones, plants, and flowers into their fur as well as creating a crown of flowers, etc.
-They could also use different berries to stain their fur and such.
-It was rumored Brokenstar stained his fur with deathberries and kit blood.
-Battle paint is often used when going to war
-Medicine cats and leaders will always keep some flowers and bones dressed at all times (though not all their outfit stays on 24/7).
-Deputies will typically have some sort of small accessory on them to dignify them.
-Riverclan cats nearly always use shells and fishbones, as well as willow, lilies, and pond irises. For added sparkle they also use fish scales.
-Thunderclan usually uses mouse, vole, and squirrel bones with brambles, thistles, daisies, and bracken. They often use sparrow, jay, or robin feathers too.
-Shadowclan overall decorates with the most bones which are usually snake, frog, rat, bat, or lizard. Bat wings, dried frog legs, raven or crow feathers, and lizard or snake scales are often incorporated. Out of all Clans they use flowers the least though leaders and highly honored warriors collect roses.
-In the Clans flowers are not seen as “feminine” Tigerstar’s crown actually included blood red roses and thorns.
-Shadowclan is infamous for coating their claws in deathberry juice or snake venom in battle.
-Windclan uses the most flowers out of the five. They love sweet scented flowers of all kinds, their garb is known to be softer in both texture and color. They often use sheep’s wool as added fluff. Very battle hungry warriors/leaders or tunnelers are honored with rabbit skulls and bones.
-Hawkheart was the only medicine cat known to Windclan to incorporate bones in his dress.
-Windclan tunnelers would wear crystals or pretty rocks during ceremonies. Their crowns nearly never contained flowers or grass but mostly bones, roots, and twigs.
-Skyclan’s crowns were very different and often included Twoleg things such as cloth or glass. They were made mostly of bird and squirrel bones and feathers.
-Leaders’ and medicine dens are heavily decorated with bones, feathers, fur, and flowers.
-In Thunderclan a deer and two badger skulls are hung on the walls. A badger pelt is also used for the leader’s nest. The badger skulls and pelt were dried and cleaned from two badgers killed in the badger attack.
-In Shadowclan many snake and bat skulls line the walls, in the center being a fox skull and pelt said to have been killed by Cedarstar.
-Windclan’s leader’s cave is centerd around a sheep skull (one had been found dead many moons ago) and rabbit skulls. The sheep’s skin is highly prized and was carried by warriors throughout the Great Journey. There are also innumerable heather flowers in the (underground) den.
-Riverclan decorates with clams and shells mostly. They prefer a more plant and moss orientated leader nest than other clans.
-Skyclan’s leader den has many bird skulls but in the center lies a pile of extraordinarily soft feathers.
-Many warriors dens also contain pelts and such to sleep on.
-It is often the medicine cat’s job to clean and dry pelts and bones. Bones improperly cleaned smell terrible and rot.
-During warrior ceremonies or when announcing mates all the clan will dress win their very best.
-Warriors are buried with their garb though often a mate or kit is allowed to keep a lock of fur and add it to their own dress.
-The warrior’s dress and ceremonial outfit is where the kittypet rumor of “they eat bones!” started.
Anyways sorry that was so long! Hope you guys enjoy :3 I was inspires by @aesthetic-warriors to think of more headcannons!
For my dear Apollo,
you shine too bright
for a world like this.
you are the flame
that burns too strong,
and will be extinguished too soon.
but little do they know
they are extinguishing the sun
and what kind of world would that be?
I had not known the light
until I knew you,
and I had never believed in anything
like I believed in you.
The Royal Navy of Farrun often send expeditions far from the borders of their kingdom to secure the sea lanes that are so vital to the port city’s continued prosperity. To this day, their sails still proudly display the blue-and-white Frost Sigil of Farrun’s royal house, who claim descent from the ancient warlords who drove the last Orcs out of their territory in the late Second Era and founded the modern Kingdom of Farrun. In recent years, however, they have begun to display another symbol on the flags atop their mainmasts - the red-and-black Fist and Crown-of-Thorns that is the symbol of the Eltheric League. A potent symbol to all who look upon Farrun’s Navy that an attack on them is also an attack on their northern Breton allies in Northpoint and Jehanna.
