Tropical Mood: In Bali, a stunning exotic architecture, with Mediterranean accents, design and color.

Architects Valentina Audrito and Abhishake Kumbhat’s house in Bali is located in the heart of the outstanding tropical forest, with a terrific sea-view. The building is inspired by the local architectural style while the interior looks more western and contemporary with concrete floors, recycled wood, eclectic furniture, featuring local craftsmanship, vintage pieces and artistic installations.

Pendulum by LIND DNA

The Pendulum is a ceiling mounted side table, that is produced as a square and a circle. In th square version you can take the tray out of the frame to use it as a standard tray. LIND DNA, the Danish company, that created Pendulum carefully selected their leather distributors for the leather matt inlay, so they only use recycled leather.

DIY Crate Coffee Table from DARK RYE’s Art Issue

My love affair with crates started last year. They give off an authentic, rustic vibe. We love to use them in our store for displays, and I’m using small ones for my wedding in June. At home, I was searching for a coffee table that would hold tons of books and assorted goods. I thought crates would go with the look of my house and do the trick. I paired them with the hairpin legs because they add a touch of industrial flair and make the table look high-end. I believe you can’t go wrong with wood and metal. Plus, it didn’t hurt that the middle is open for showcasing succulents or amazing flowers.
