“The problem is that you don’t just choose recovery. You have to keep choosing recovery, over and over and over again. You have to make that choice 5-6 times each day. You have to make that choice even when you really don’t want to. It’s not a single choice, and it’s not easy.” With the new year brings an increase in diet and weight talk, which brings me to self reflect and remind myself why I keep fighting so hard. I’m excited for 2016 and I’m hoping to make it one where I truly find the happiest, healthiest and most positive version of myself #RecoveryWarriors ❤️💪🏼🖕🏼FU ED

In recovery from an eating disorder, if you’re not moving forward, you’re moving backward. If you’re not making a conscious choice to get better, you’re getting worse. Eating Disorders don’t just go away. #itsfeburary #AnnaRecovery #anorexiarecovery #MiaRecovery #bulimiarecovery #EdRecovery #edawareness #recoveryispossible #recovery #RecoveryWarriors #keepfighting #Keepitup #OneDayAtATime

For my first post here’s my recovery tattoo I got for a year in recovery. I wrote it out and got it done to celebrate. In honor of #EDAW2014 here’s a reminder to all of you that you are worth recovery. You are worth living and loving your life. And recovery is possible. It isn’t easy but you can do this and you’re never alone. Do something this week to celebrate you and to move forward in recovery. We can do this 😊 #RecoveryWarriors

One of the most sweetest girls in my life EVER, Sara (the-tea-goddess) sent me a package that arrived last night. I swear her card made me blush and get all teary! Ahahaha Sara, my hippie soul sister, you are amazing and I wish you didn’t live so far away. Your little package truly lifted my spirits during this rough time.

P.S. The jellybeans/tea are amazing too 😍 New favorite movie treat!
