"Pick Me Up"

[Watch out - many F-Bombs and yelling]

Okay, gonna be honest - i am very nervous about uploading this to everyone.

This is a track i made for my d&d game - on some kind of audio recording crystal labled “pick me up” by the owner bundled together with chocolate.

It was meant to introduce the character Malik (a nasty Crimelord) to the players - establishing him, his character, and the threat that he poses. I had alot of fun recording this and the players loved it! Now i am showing it to you guys. I hope you get some entertainment out of it.

The Beatles started out as a boy band though. Please Please Me, Love Me Do? I Saw Her Standing There... thats straight boy band. I mean they moved out of that, but they straight up were a boy band at first ya know.

mate, dont be a shitcunt.  a boy band is generally a group of boys/men who preform songs written for them as an ensemble with dance moves and dont play the instruments either live or during the recording process. the beatles were a band. a band comprised of all boys, and the only thing that even puts them remotely in boy band territory is the fact they were good looking and didnt have a clear lead singer.  they wrote almost every song they record with a few exceptions in the early day - but they were covers, not songs written for them. they were not a record lable created act, yes they had to tone down their look by wearing suits instead of leather but sound wise they were their own entity through and through. they worked hard for the chance to make their own music and the fact that the music was more pop then their later stuff doesnt diminish that. they wrote music that would be appreciated by the audience of that time. so no they were not a straight up boy band at first if they were then the rolling stones should definetly be given that same lable, but they werent so its pretty much just the fact that they were good looking boys which makes macho guys mad and undermine them by calling them a boy band.  and also for the record i saw her standing their is no where near a boy band song. bye thanks 4 coming.
