me as a parent
  • Son: Dad, I cant sleep
  • Me: Don't worry son, I'll sing you a lullaby
  • Me: Now listen closely.
  • Me: Here's a little lesson, in trickery. This is going down in history. If you wanna be a villain number one, you have to chase a superhero on the run. Just follow my moves, and sneak around. Be careful not to make a sound. Shhh. NO DONT TOUCH THAT! We are number one. We are number one. We are number one. Now look at this net that I just found. When I say go, get ready to throw. And Go! THROW IT AT HIM NOT ME! Ugh, lets try something else. Now watch and learn, here's the deal. He'll slip and slide on this banana peel. WHAT ARE YOU DOING!? We are number one. We are number one. We are number one. We are number one.

It’s awesome to be able to draw Mark with his black hair again

  • me, an autistic: I can't proceed until condition x is met
  • some allistic: but you don't need x to complete it. you can do it right now!
  • me, an autistic: ...you don't understand,

white people need to fucking stop speaking over ace people of color and telling us we’re being racist for headcanoning characters of color as ace

my existence as an ace person of color is not inherently racist. i am allowed to want representation. ace headcanons of characters of color by ace people of color are not to be blamed for the desexualization or oversexualization of people of color. i am not responsible for my own oppression.

honestly i think one of the reasons sirica’s episode is my favorite episode from the kirby anime is because the show is generally about a tiny marshmallow that gains powers from whatever he eats to destroy evil monsters, and everyone else fights with swords or abilities kirby can copy from, and the setting appears to be somewhat medieval with some modern day elements mixed into it, but not much.

BUT THEN SIRICA COMES IN WITH A FUCKING GUN

just. straight up barges into the show with a fucking GUN. this young little girl just put up her middle finger and said “fuck that sword i’m just getting a fucking gun”

but then

IT’S BOTH A MACHINE GUN AND A BAZOOKA. OKAY. I DUNNO WHY A YOUNG GIRL HAS A GUN THAT IS TWO GUNS ROLLED INTO ONE BUT-

IT’S ALSO A FLAMETHROWER??? WHY? WHY DID THEY PUT ON A FUCKING FLAMETHROWER ON A GUN THAT IS BASICALLY TWO GUNS?

FUCK IT BRO WE’VE ALREADY GOT TWO GUNS AND A FLAMETHROWER WHO NOT ADD A SWORD ONTO IT

THIS CHILD, THIS FUCKING CHILD THAT IS ONLY IN THIS EPISODE AND THE FINAL EPISODE, IS MORE ARMED THAN THE ENTIRETY OF THE CAST, INCLUDING THE FUCKING ARMY

and not only that, she knows how to fucking USE IT. She knows how to fight with a sword, a flamethrower, and two kinds of guns AT THE SAME TIME. She manages to take down one of the strongest characters in the show with this thing, not once, but TWICE.

how did she get this gun? how does she know how to use it? who gives a shit about that? she just walks in and OWNS EVERYONE with this out of nowhere weapon and we’re all just supposed to accept that a child managed to do that with no real explanation.

THIS IS WHY THE KIRBY ANIME IS THE BEST ANIME OUT THERE

From the moment a child is born, they crave touch. They want to be held, not just to eat, but for safety, for warmth, for comfort, for affection–for love. A newborn will show preference in who they want to be held by, especially when they’re tired or sick or scared. We are born ready to be loved. Our first need is to be cared for, to be fed and changed, and held. To learn that we are loved.

Don’t let anyone, anyone tell you have to be able to love yourself before you can be loved. You were born ready to be loved wholly, and having self-esteem issues or a mental illness doesn’t make you any less lovable.

You don’t need to fulfill any condition. You are worth loving. You deserve to be loved, and have deserved to be loved since the moment you were born. You are worth loving.

nothing is worse than making an effort to express genuine excitement for something for the first time in an extraordinarily long time, trying to share what made you excited with someone you trust, and have that someone blow you off
