Summary: The reader deals with the aftermath of her run in with Demon!Dean, and has to make a decision; heed his warning not to look for him, or ignore it, and seek help from the king of hell. Will they find him? And can they cure him?

Apologies for delays

I’ve been pretty busy driving Ery around dealing with legal matters pertaining to the divorce all this last week. It’s looking like things are going to end amicably, and her husband’s coming over Sun-tues in order to sort through their belonging. I’ll be heading in on Sunday to start repairs on the car, then next week helping Ery file with SSI and finalize the legal documentation needed for the separation.

This past week, I’ve been so busy with that I haven’t had time for art, and have been pretty exhausted. I may be able to work on some commissions Monday, but I may be worn out after swinging a wrench all day on Sunday. We have a lot to replace - New wheels to replace the two bent ones, new front axles, new front lower control arms, new power steering rack, new engine thermostat, new rear sway bar bushings, new brake hardware for the rear brakes, new motor mounts… The front axles need new seals as well, but I can’t source the parts on those so will have the shop replace those, but otherwise my wife and I are doing all the work for what’s listed. With having to pull just about the whole front end, including fuel, steering, and brake lines, we’re liable to be sore and exhausted by the end of it. We need the car ready before the move, so there’s no getting around it or delaying it.

So again, apologies for delay on artwork, but things have been pretty hectic around here. They should be slowing down a bit in the near future between finalizing everything and packing the house up for the move, so I should be able to work on commissions then.

We’re seeing more and Milwaukee metal in the alt-moto and café racer scenes.
Harley’s European arm made a big splash last year with the first #BattleOfTheKings dealer build-off competition. BOTK is now back for a second run, this time with the Iron 833 Sportster as the base bike.
Several racier builds have caught our eye. Here’s one of our favorites, from the English builder @shawspeed and shot by @leebrettphotography.
Shaw have fitted their own seat, rear subframe and bars, and raided the @harleydavidson catalog for the headlight, grips and axle covers. A hike in power comes from a Screamin’ Eagle Race Tuner and air filter, with gases exiting via a very tidy Roland Sands Design Slant exhaust system.

The bell of the elevator echoed through the small lobby as the metal doors slid open, offering the lift as easy transport to your floor.  It was a fourteen floor climb to your apartment, but you were almost reluctant to step foot into that small room that would move you up to your home without breaking a sweat.  The matter wasn’t with the elevator itself.  No, the problem was standing beside you, radiating his bad attitude like uranium.  It was toxic and dragging your own mood through a garden of thorn bushes.  

Biting the inside of your cheek, you stepped onto the elevator and leaned against the back wall, distancing yourself as far from JB as possible, hoping if you could put some distance between the both of you, that grey cloud of grumpiness hanging over his head would no longer dampen your own spirits.  You hated this.  You hated confrontation.  You hated drama and he was going to bring that with him into your home.  If it wouldn’t be such a bitch move at this time of night, you would have sent him home to cool off for the night rather than letting him stay over as originally planned.  But the dorms were across the city and midnight had gone and went nearly an hour ago.  You couldn’t very well send him home at this time with a clear conscience.  No, you were going to have to face whatever ugly monster crawled up his rear at the bar -tonight.

Kwinskii’s bugeye: Black Magic

If you can believe it this bugeye has over 210,000 miles (and over 200,000 of them were on the stock engine). Subaru’s industrial strength build quality definitely shows on this car…

Interestingly, Kwinskii owns two modded Subarus, this black bugeye WRX being one of them, and another White STI (full-on track buildup with a bazillion point hand made rollcage (w/ gussets), ballistically wide volks, and even more Voltex goodies than the WRX – also pictured below – but it now looks like THIS)

After hitting the 210 mark, this bugeye was freshened up with EDM HID projector headlights, a fresh coat of black paint, ’04 rear to fit the Voltex carbon rear diffuser, an STI shortblock (stock engine *with mods* gave out at 207k), and the most noticeable upgrade – 18×10 Work Emotion’s.

This is an extreme wheel setup, and I’m usually not a fan of too crazy aggressive fitment (when the wheel starts to exceed the fender line), but wide looks right on this car because it’s a near-widebody WRX. While he calls it a mere “fender pull” it’s clear that some immense metalworking talent and bodywork went into building the fenders out an additional inch or so. Normally fender pulling makes me cringe because it’s (1) a permanent/irreversible mod to your chassis (2) often poorly done with a Chipotle™ Burrito-foil crumpled texture… sometimes even rusting – but Kwinskii did it right.

“The stock motor lasted until 207,000 miles. Then I just did a STI 2.5L with WRX heads and an FP green EWG and all the supporting mods. Drove it like that for about 4,000 miles and now I’m on to better things and right now I am in the middle of a motor build.”

Midnight Rendezvous - Sebastian Stan x Reader

32. ”Okay, when you say love, do you mean love as in like loving pizza or as in love, love?”

It was midnight again. The moon had risen, lighting your way as you drove down the path into town. You always liked night time, the shroud of darkness felt like it supplied you good coverage for your secrets, and boy did you have a lot.

There was that secret you kept from your parents about the night you went out and did weed for the first time, you smoked the night away and then threw it all up by morning. You weren’t really a weed person. There was the secret you kept from everything about the time you stole a creme egg from a shop when you were five, you remember how you saw this big barrel and just assumed they were for the taking. There were the many chocolate cakes overflowing with calories that you kept secret. And there was the big secret, the secret you experienced every night, the secret you wanted to hide from the world and keep hidden from the world: Sebastian Stan.

The midnight rendezvous at a bar named Pineberry started happening a couple of months ago, you were both there alone and you managed to bump into him with a drink. This small, accidental, act managed to create a relationship that was very dear to you.

But of course, like every fantastical and great romances, there was a humongous problem that got in the way of you having your happily ever after with him. And this issue, was the fact that both you and Sebastian already had partners.

Even though the two of you knew it was very wrong, neither of you could deny the very strong attraction shared, you would deny that constantly feeding your addiction with these rendezvous would lead to a very bad ending. There was no way you’d be able to keep it a secret for the rest of your life, you knew this, but you also knew that your time with him was so good and so precious that you were so scared moving any further than midnight rendezvous would cause the euphoria to end.

As always it took you between thirty to forty minutes to reach the bar which was located between where you and Sebastian lived; though you suspected he might live closer as he always ended up there first.

This time was no different. You went straight to the table near the back of the room where you and Seb would always sit at, and came to find him sipping on a beer with your  drink waiting in front of him. “Hello,” you greeted, doing nothing to hide your glee from your voice.

He looked up, and like a child seeing a puppy for the first time, Seb’s eyes sparkled as he stood up and strode two steps to get beside you. His hands automatically rested on your waist as he began to kiss both your cheeks, “hi.”

You’d never kissed him, and that’s the weird thing. You’d never kissed one another, never had sex, never technically cheated at all really. But you cared so strongly for one another, experiencing the kind of emotions that only couples would share, though you never gave it a name. Giving it a name was just as risky as making out with him in front of your boyfriend.

Once seated, you talked with him about many things and he talked to you about many other things. His conversation pieces were much more interesting than yours, considering he’s an actor and got to do much more in a day than you’d do your entire life. You’d always give him an update on how your day went, and he’d return this by telling you about his, and he’d always manage to make your life seem terribly boring. For example, you’d tell him about waking up at seven, driving to work through traffic, photocopying all these papers, having a conversation with your rather dull coworkers and then going home. He would then tell you about how he got picked up at eight, was in makeup for three hours getting his metal arm put on and then doing all these stunts with explosions and other interesting things. Sebastian did once say that your was much more interesting than you gave it credit for.

And while this time went much like that, something was different. It took you a while but you eventually managed to pinpoint the strange feeling to be Sebastian’s behaviour. He kept getting distracted and he generally just looked troubled.

“What’s wrong?” You eventually asked after his third drink. On a normal night the two of you would average about ten drinks, what was weird this night, was that he had consumed three drinks in the past hour.

He looked up at you just before he had a gulp of his latest drink, when he saw the concern on your face and realised that there was no way he could keep whatever he was being troubled by hidden any longer, he put down the glass and inhaled a long breath. The breath didn’t seem to help as twenty more seconds passed in silence. You were just about to say his name out of concern when his mouth timidly opened, “mylivpoo.” He rushed out the words very quietly and there was no way you could decipher them.

Your eyebrows scrunched up together, “I’m sorry, could you say that again please… maybe slower… and louder. Yeah, that’d help.”

“I… I love you.”

Time froze. He’d done it, he’d named the emotions shared and plunged you both into danger. Because this was something you couldn’t deny, you loved him more than anything. It was a burning, passionate, love. Something that could never be ignored or denied, unless the person was suicidal. ”Okay, when you say love, do you mean love as in like loving pizza or as in love, love?”

“Love, love.” He confirmed, giggling a little at what you’d said.

“Well then…” You mumbled, all of a sudden finding yourself incapable of looking at Sebastian.

This speechless reaction had Sebastian panicking. It had him thinking that perhaps you never actually loved him back and that he’d been imagining it the entire time. And if that were the case than everything in his life felt hopeless, so he was just hoping that it wasn’t the reason. Sebastian was hoping you were simply in denial still, because that he could deal with.

By moving to the seat beside you Sebastian was able to grab your hand and with it he began to gently kiss each of your knuckles. “Y/N, how long do you want to keep this up?” The prospect of being able to keep this a secret had your eyes rising and looking into his. “Because I’d happily keep doing this as long as it means I get to see you still, but how long do you think we can actually keep this going? Correct me if I’m wrong but I’m pretty sure that you love me back, and I know it’s going to be hard breaking up with our partners… but isn’t it worth it? I’ve never been happier than when I’m with you, I’ve never smiled so much, talked so much, laughed so much… loved so much. I guess what I’m trying to say is that I’m tired of only having you on nights. I want to be able to wake up next to you and cook breakfast with you, I want to spend so much time with you that we argue about the dumbest of things like what the word rhetorical means. So please? Pretty please, with a cherry on top?”

A heavy and extremely tense silence settled in between the two of you as you tried to make up your mind on what to do next. Your eyes reared towards the bar and you stared at the multiple couples that hung there, dancing, talking, kissing. They looked so happy and though it wasn’t a confirmed thing, that could be you and Sebastian.

There was, of course, no way of knowing that what you and Sebastian had formed from these midnight rendezvous could evolve into an actual relationship, but wasn’t it worth a try anyway? You obviously weren’t happy in your current relationship, he hadn’t even noticed you going out at midnight or if he had then he didn’t care and that was just a perfect example for how much effort was put into the relationship you had. There was literally no doubt in your mind that he wouldn’t care at all if you were to dump him. So that wasn’t the problem, the problem is that you feared a future without Sebastian in your life.

“I don’t know what to do.” You whispered, feeling so torn between the two choices you had.

He raised one hand up and grabbed a hold of your chin, now forcing you to look at him and giving you no option to metaphorically run away like you had been doing by constantly avoiding his gaze. “I’m going to kiss you,” he said, “is that okay?”

With baited breath you nodded your head.

He kissed you and the world fell away. It was slow and soft, comforting in ways that words would never be. Sebastian’s hand rested below your ear, his thumb caressing your cheek as your breath mingled with his. You ran your fingers down his clothed spine, pulling him closer until there was no space left between the two of you and you could feel the beating of his heart against your chest.

Sebastian had to be the one to move away from you, and when he did you were completely dazed. “Y/N?” He said and you remained wide eyed and silent. “Is… Is that a yes?”

“Will you kiss me again if I say yes?”

A resonating chuckle escaped him and it caused the butterflies to stir in your belly, “babe, if you say yes then that means we can kiss whenever and wherever you want.”

“Oh yeah,” you giggled, promptly jumping forward so that you were closer to him and able to attack his lips with yours. “Yes, then.” You finally answered his question, merrily kissing him once more.


Tim Molzen’s 1962 Dodge ¾ ton crew cab pickup truck

Unique doesn’t even begin to describe Molzen’s crew cab! After being retired as an Air Force truck in Texas, Molzen acquired it then sent it to Iowa’s hot rod kingpin Roger Burman for its full transformation. It started with a custom made Roadster Shop frame with tubular A-arms, a 4-bar rear suspension setup and a 9-inch Ford rear end. Rack and pinion style steering with Wilwood disc brakes all around give it new millennium performance. Custom painted Hot Rods by Boyd wheels roll on Continental tires.

Under the hood is all Mopar. A 360 c.i. Dodge V8 with an Edelbrock four barrel carburetor, Edelbrock aluminum cylinder heads and custom fabricated aluminum valve covers warm up the engine bay. MSD ignition and stock coated headers with Flowmaster exhaust work together to power the massive truck down the highway. A 727 transmission with Gear Vendors overdrive provides smooth shift points.

The old ¾-ton 4×4 Dodge truck’s body was in rough shape upon arrival. Burman spent countless hours reworking the bed, cab and front end. All the edges were sharpened as well as body gaps reset. Once all the work was finished it was painted in a brilliant PPG Western Brown at Burman’s Lakeside Rods & Rides.

Weber’s Custom Interiors in Alexandria, Minnesota had a lot of work to do inside the 4-door truck. Dodge Intrepid power front seats were used while the stock back seat was salvageable. The seats were trimmed in a brown leather with white stitching. The custom made door panels were upholstered to match. The Dash was smoothed and painted to match the exterior of the truck then fitted with custom made one-of-a-kind Dakota Digital gauges which sit behind the Billet Specialties steering wheel.

What Burman did to transform Molzen’s 4-door pickup into a stunning award winner is basically on par with Alezandros of Antioch’s Venus de Milo. Unique, different and masterfully built, it’s truly one of a kind ride.

His lips were on hers, insistent and searching as he sucked her bottom lip into his mouth. When he pressed her back against the wall, she barely recognised the low and needy moan that escaped her lips. His hand moved along the curves of her body, sending a shiver of anticipation through her as she snaked her hands around his waist and pulled him hard against her…

The shrill beep of her alarm woke Emma with a start. A string of curse words flew out of her mouth.

These particular dreams had become more frequent recently and she would be lying if she said she wasn’t keen to see one through to…completion.

It had been six weeks since Neal had disappeared and her life had been an unsettling mix of disconcerting and comforting ever since. When she thought back to the night he left, sitting in the hallway outside the apartment, the sense of loneliness she had felt was overwhelming. She had steeled herself to accept that she was clearly meant to be alone, to never be enough for anyone.

Until those elevator doors slid open and those long-held fears disappeared at the sight of him.

She was enough in the eyes of Killian Jones - the way he looked at her when he thought she didn’t notice would attest to that. And she was beginning to realise that more than anything, she wanted to agree with him.

Swinging her legs over the side of her bed, she looked around at her now familiar surroundings, thanking her lucky stars yet again for the Nolans and their unflagging hospitality. Without them providing her a home on a moment’s notice, she could only imagine where she would be emotionally at this point. Certainly a hell of a lot more angry, she thought. There had been plenty of abandonment, plenty of loss, in her life before and it had hit with a vengeance. But somehow this time, surrounded by people who genuinely cared for her - love you, even, said a small voice as an image of dark hair and blue eyes flashed in her head - this time it was very different.

There was a quiet knock on the door.

“Emma?” Mary Margaret’s head appeared around the door. “Oh good, I was just coming to make sure you were up. Is it still OK to drop me at school this morning?”

This moment of domesticity was so normal and yet so foreign that Emma had a sudden urge to hug her housemate, which brought a wide grin to her face.

Yep, definitely a different set of feelings, she thought. Take that Cassidy, you moron.

Apparently a little of the old anger remained.

1983 Toyota 4x4 is the rarest first gen toy ever made. It’s the Mojave edition that was shipped to Canada. Only 500 made and came with a Mojave limited edition dash plaque, numbered 1-500.
The Mojave edition had two tone seats, brown with the gold decal kit, gold colour roll-bar and rear bumper.
