Anyone have the link to any of the YouTuber encouragement posters? The really cute ones of the BBS or Derps or Mark or Jack saying ‘You can do it’ and other nice happy encouraging sayings?
I really could use them right now.
combinedmessages said: The Presidental election has always been decided on the Electorial College. You have to campaign accordingly. To decide a election based only on the large populist areas would make most of the nation irrelevent. Hillary won the popular vote by the size of the city if Chicago in population. What you propose with popular vote leaves out so many States. Thats not fair either!
“it has always been this way” is not & never has been a valid argument. and, “[deciding] an election based on only the large populist areas” is literally exactly what we’re doing now with the electoral college…lmao. based on the contents of your blog, you’ll obviously believe what you want to believe regardless of evidence to the contrary, but by definition a popular vote (in any context) cannot “leave out” anyone, it’s a simple means of determining a majority
i’m going to be honest, this was literally one of the best things to ever happen in an anime. their relationship is so healthy and realistic and its actually treated seriously. its not used as a gag or bait to lure in lgbtq viewers, the series lets it develop along with the plot in a way that is so perfect and it
this normalizes same gendered couples and takes these kinds of relationships away from simply being a “weird sub-genre”. it’s proper representation, i really hope other production companies decide to follow in these footsteps. i don’t think i will ever be able to shut up about this
Listen guys. HYYH Young Forever is not just any other album. It’s a summary of bts’s hard work over the past year. It contains all the songs from their most important era. It’s an album that they wrote, composed, and produced themselves. It’s an album that contains their lyrics about their dreams and never giving up, their youth and growth. It’s about working hard even if society is against you, its about their passion and lonlieness, their friendship and trust, and all of their physical and emotional struggles and just- I am so fucking proud and happy for them, they really deserve it all and the fact that they won with such an important album makes the meaning behind this award even greater.
Hey guys, have we cried over episode 9 of Yuri on Ice enough yet?
I think not!
Let’s talk about that airport scene (my precious, beloved airport scene).
It’s beautiful and tear-jerking on its own.
But how about we remember that Yuuri said that he will retire after this year’s Grand Prix Final?
Let’s look at that scene from that angle.
What he’s saying here is basically “Please stay with me, please take care of me for these last few weeks before everything is over.”
And this line, this line especially sounds melancholic. As though Victor is saying “I wish I could stay with you longer but we both know that we can only stay together until the Grand Prix Final. I wish we had more time. If only this didn’t have to end so soon…”
And Yuuri knows that’s exactly what he means. He wishes it would be a promise that they’ll stay together forever, but really, it’s only a reminder that what they have is temporary, that even though they wish it would last longer, it won’t. That everything between them will end, and will end soon.
It’s no wonder there are tears in his eyes.
And of course, we can imagine that Yuuri’s plans can change, that he will compete again next year, or that Victor will stay by his side not as his coach, but as something more.
But they don’t know that yet.
They’re clinging to each other for dear life because, for all they know, this is all the time they’re going to get.
