Hello there. It's my blog's first birthday today, and in celebration, I had a small party and promo'd the top nine blogs that I most "like" on tumblr. You were one of them :] I just wanted to let you know about your invite/promo, and I think your blog is great. I love all the Harry Potter stuff you post, and sometimes I learn something new about the series, so thanks. :]

awn thank you so much, really and happy blog anniversary!!!!

Sirius turned right around to look at [Harry]…

“You want to [live with me]?” he said. “You mean it?”

“Yeah, I mean it!” said Harry.

Sirius’s gaunt face broke into the first true smile Harry had seen upon it.

Crack. Dead twins. Crack. Dead Percy. Crack. Dead Harry…

“Molly, it was just a boggart,” [Lupin] said soothingly…

Sirius was staring at the patch of carpet where the boggart, pretending to be Harry’s body, had lain.

To this day, I can never shake the connection between this boy, Peeta Mellark, and the bread that gave me hope, and the dandelion that reminded me that I was not doomed.

I only see the image for a moment, because the train is off again, but it’s enough. Enough to remind me of that other dandelion in the school yard years ago…

I had just turned away from Peeta Mellark’s bruised face when I saw the dandelion and I knew hope wasn’t lost.

“It has nothing to do with weakness,” said Professor Lupin sharply, as though he could read Harry’s mind. “The dementors affect you worse than the others because there are true horrors in your past that the others don’t have.”

Ginny, who was huddled in her corner looking nearly as bad as Harry felt, gave a small sob…

“But didn’t any of you—fall off your seats?” said Harry awkwardly.

“No,” said Ron, looking anxiously at Harry again. “Ginny was shaking like mad though.”
