read comic books

I’m reading old comic books.  Expect to hear my thoughts about when the X-Men went off the rails in the near future (I’m curious what others think, I bet I disagree with you, though).

But this post is simpler…

WHY DID NO ONE TELL ME THAT GREG RUCKA IS JEWISH?!

I know people talk about Batman really being an asylum patient and all that shizz is in his head. (talking about the comic books mostly not the movies honestly haven’t seen them)

But if there’s any super hero who must be batshit crazy and making everything up in their head its Deadpool. You can’t tell me he isn’t crazy. I’m reading the comic book now and I’m having a fucking blast. Deadpool baby, you break that forth wall all you want. well he’s kinda not really a super hero.. he’s kinda anti i dunno. Comic book priests don’t curse me out, I’m only just learning more about comic book characters. -nods-

It’s so obvious it’s easy to miss.

I can’t believe that I actually found time to do this…

I like the hc where Jack loves to read comic books (about super heroes in particular) And this discovery just blow his and my mind wide open! They’ve been super heroes all along!

The Zodiac Signs as Books

Picture book: Libra, Aquarius, Pisces

Guys. Guys. I do not hear enough about Saga on here.

Even if you don’t read comics, you should really check out. It’s by Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples.

Why should you read it? I’ll try to explain.

The story/universe is huge and interesting.

It’s illustrated by a woman

The main characters are POC

Both the man and the woman kick butt, while equally taking care of their newborn daughter (who is narrating!)

It’s not just about the action.

It’s not just about the love

They have some crazy looking races

And of course, they have a lying cat!

There are a million more reasons to read it. I mean, look at this art.

If you’re not reading Saga, what are you doing??
