TV Guide: Elementary Taps Smash Star as Joan’s New Boyfriend

First she got a new nemesis, and then a new rival. Now, Elementary’s Joan Watson is getting a lover!

Raza Jaffrey has landed a guest-starring role on the CBS drama as Andrew, the new boyfriend of Joan Watson.

When Elementary returns, it’s been nearly a year since Sherlock left for London and his new job at MI6. Suffice it to say, Joan is not too pleased with her former partner. Naturally, her new boyfriend Andrew is, in some respects, the anti-Sherlock, an oasis of normalcy in a life still rife with strangeness and drama.

Of course, Sherlock tries to get back in Joan’s good graces when he returns to New York, so he’ll tread lightly around Andrew in the beginning. But, let’s be real, Sherlock can only ever mind his manners for so long.

Honestly, ever since a friend suggested it, I've been all about seeing Raza Jaffrey as the next Bond. He already played a spy with a nice car in Spooks (MI-5 in the US), and he did all his own martial arts ass-kicking as well. Also he's seriously hot, he wears suits soooo well, and he has the accent. Like, he'd be perfect for Bond.

HE’S SO HANDSOME AND PERFECT :D I need to watch MI-6 now!
